Yum, delicious and packed with flavor. Tastes and feels authentic, and atmosphere and staff are very friendly and relaxed. Their special curry dish was excellent and we really liked the desserts. So reasonably priced too! The back outdoor space is lovely.
Love this tai restaurant! We had our dinner in outdoor area with some sunlight. We enjoyed our food and drink! I forgot which cocktail I got, but it was recommended by the staff. My wife got the lychee slush which was amazing! I want to try the special dish but was told it’s gonna be spicy and I didn’t get in at the end. However, it was a good dining experience and we will visit again!
Excellent food. Very different from any other Thai place I’ve been to. Their chive cakes were amazing! Very different yet similar to a scallion pancake. It had excellent flavor and the perfect crisp. My kupaw noodle dish was excellent. Lots of flavor with squid and chicken. It had tons of noodles as well. The Thai iced coffee was also perfect.
This is an awesome spot if you’re looking for some authentic Thai food in Astoria. It’s a small place but nicely done. Service was excellent. They don’t have an extensive menu, but it appeared on my first visit, what they do, they do well. I started with the larb - perhaps not quite as spicy as the menu suggests but still quite good. And then tried their namesake - the boat noodles - which were awesome and having been to Thailand many times myself, can attest to being very authentic. I’ll return!
Quite cute vibe - we tried a few new dishes - red bean paste veggie noodle etc - that seem to be either special to this restaurant or to a certain area in Thailand. Not as good as hyped but I wanted to try again for more regular dishes especially the rice!
My partner and I stopped in for lunch and we're very satisfied by the end of the meal. I ordered a bowl of Sukhothai which was probably some of the best noodle soups I've had in Astoria. The broth is aromatic and layered with notes of savory/briney from a combination of bone broth and dried shrimp used. The rice vermicelli that's served in this is reminiscent of pho noodles, in texture, which also has the bonus of absorbing the flavors of the broth and motivates one to pick up the bowl until what's leftover is a full stomach. Vegetarian options: There is a meatless option if you notify the server who'll inform the cooks.
Quite authentic. We had a good time in the terrace and the service is good. I like when they hire people from the same country as the food is. They can give you real suggestions and instructions about food
This place is fantastic and it's not just the food. It looks very traditional and makes you feel like you're in Thailand. It gives off that village and cozy vibe . I can handle the spice and the food wasn't overly spice but just right and equally delicious. Be sure to try the Thai iced tea with milk.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Well designed interior of the dining room giving the retro Thailand vibes. We ordered the Boat noodle soup with pork ball skewers and Larb Moo.
Thai food cheap eats around the area! Nice papaya salad. The boat noodle is great. I ordered beef nam tok. Less flavorful than the one in East Village but still one of the best in NYC.
