Do not use Quality Pools! Don sales and Mike owner - Terrible Service and worse non-existent After sales Service Over Promise and under deliver. Don Smith makes all these amazing promises, to get the deal, and then runs away after final payment is made, they have left my garden looking like an off-road bike track. Mike, the owner, doesn't care about after sales service and both him and Don do not deliver on their promises, they are overpriced. They promised to remove the sand dug out, which was included in the total price and they have not, the team leaves their empty packets / food containers, rubbish and bottles all over the garden and they left a gate open, after asking them numerous times to keep all gates closed at all times, and 2 of my dogs got out, but fortunately I got them home safely, but Quality pool's team's absent mindedness could have led to tragedy, I have contacted Mike and Don regarding the sand, which has been there so long already, it has weeds growing on it, and excuse after excuse, one of which, was the rain, which I do understand, it did rain, Mike did get back to me and advised me that I must pay extra to have the sand removed, definitely not what I was expecting for the price I paid for the installation of the pool, and Don's conversations and innuendo's were, in my opinion, inappropriate and made me, my teenage daughter and my elderly mother, feel uncomfortable. Please do not use Quality pools, they do not keep to their promises, and they DO NOT have any after sales service.
Horrible Experience, installed the pool in October. Lodged a complaint in December that the grouting in the pool is cracking in 7 places and that the pool pump was poorly wired, with open cables running underground where the outflow pipe is located. After Numerous calls, emails and whatsapp messages to the owner. Mike the owner tells me that he his not liable for the poor wiring which his team concluded and connected, saying that he would have contracted an electrician to do so. This is after the team from quality pools installed the pool pump and connected the electricity, he also refuses to deal directly with me or come out to the property to see the complaint and discuss corrective actions, saying he will not be a middle man and will send out Don the original representative. Horrible experience, with no after sales service. I may be forced to lodge a Consumer Protection Act complaint, should there be no resolution by end of week. Numerous other challenges: they left some rubble on the side of the pool, which I had to remove, cut through a garden gate to move the pool in and the poorly welded it to the point where it is falling off, left my front wall with bricks broken off for 2 weeks affecting home security, etc For a company that charges an arm an a leg, you receive a great sales call, however once the money is paid, they do not respond to emails or return phone calls.
The only time I can mention quality, is when I tell people not to use Quality Pools, very very poor workmanship, management non existing .... From the owner all the way down you only hear lies, excuses and empty promises.... After service non-existant. After plus minus four months the colour of the pool is changing in certain spots only. After we accepted that there is NO guarantee on this Don said that he still wants to show it to “Mike”. The light is full of water, faulty installation or faulty product ? Don promised to come fix it and bring “Mike” to have a look at the discolouration. Still waiting….. We were prepared to go buy a new light and have it fixed ourselves but he insisted that he would sort it for us. He simply did not pitch on the day that he organised to come do it. Now he is not answering our WhatsApps or taking our calls. Pathetic. I think Mike is a figment of Don’s imagination…….
As per other reviews had a pool installed in September 2022. Struggled to get them to complete work, still has not received the warrantee and absolute zero after sale service on defects. Also did not clean the pool or the surroundings on completion and left the pool looking more like a mud bath than a pool. Will NOT recommend them to anyone.
Don Smith.. you are one amazing person. You kept your word down to the last detail. You treated us like family..so warm and caring. Promised you'd finish in 7 days but completed in 4 days. .Kept us informed every step of the way. God bless you Don. Unfortunate experience experience of “over promise and under deliver”. - break down of pricing not available until 90% deposit paid in full, - paving labour rates at R1000+/sqm, we supplied coping & paving direct. - pricing only includes 400mm substandard coping - workmanship messy, took us 4 days to clean the pool from concrete - ourselves, - no sight of management, customer service shocking: leaving 15min voice messages but never available to answer the phone, - only worked 1 day a week over 5 weeks, after promising the pool takes less than 2 weeks. - very little, if any communication between team digging the hole and shell suppliers. When shell was delivered, damaged boundary wall - and hole was too shallow and not in correct position.
The worst after sales experience ever. Promises promises and no delivery. Mike can not even keep an appointment commitment. He has no commitment, no integraty. His grandfather that started the business must be extremely disappointed. Pool builders are bad and he is the worst. Accept his quote and you will have a lifetime guarantee of no service!!?*#$&@!?!

Poor quality, aftersales non existent. Would not recommend at all. I used Rhino Pools to fix the poor quality pool from quality pools. This after months of chasing Mike with no answers and them not arriving for appointments. Rhino Pools are far superior in every facet of the services they deliver.
