I had one of there sales/service guys ask if we could use service and I scheduled a service call knowing it would be two weeks. I waited four weeks for the service call to get a technician that was not trained on the type of equipment. Was told a technician that was trained on the equipment would be out the next day and two days later nobody has shown up. When I called service, I was told there backed up. It would have been great for them to communicate these issues without me chasing them down.
So I was in need of a new forklift for my warehouse and I did plenty of research and read a ton of reviews. In the end my gut told me go with Quantum. I'm very pleased with my decision. After having a forklift cost our company 13k in repairs I needed a company that offered a warranty that covered repairs in the event they were needed. Theirs was the best. I highly recommend them.
This was by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Needed service for a leak in my forklift, had a quote finalized and paid for to find out the fix wasn't actually done. Continued to leak even more than before. When called to come properly fix, they wanted to charge me for more money and said it was something else that was causing the leak. So beyond my better judgement, I had them do the other service that they said would completely fix it, and paid them in full. It didnt leak for 1 day and then continued to leak everyday following. Did nothing to rectify it, just wanted to charge me more money for them having to come back out. If I could give 0 stars I would.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! We went through Quantum Lift for MAJOR repairs on our Forklift. Even though they do a decent job with minor repairs, DO NOT trust them with something major. Our forklift was very old so we asked for a quote for ALL repairs so there was no more leaks. They gave us quotes on used forklifts for $10,000 and a quote for repair cost for our current forklift for around $7,000. Of course, we went with the lower cost which would be to fix our current truck. They took our hi lo to their warehouse to fix it then brought it back 2 weeks later. They claimed everything was ship-shape and no more leaks. That was a lie! Is was still leaking AND leaking CARBON MONOXIDE!! Someone came in to fix those issues. Once he left and charged us once again for an issue they should have already fixed, it was still leaking... Finally, a repairman came in and told us that there were many items on our Invoice that said they were repaired and WERE NOT. So he went ahead and "fixed" those items. As he was leaving, our hi lo started SPEWING oil all over our shop from the Steering Control Valve. He then told us that the cost for a new one would be around $6,000!!!!!! On top of that, they charged us for those repairs!!!! Now we have a forklift that doesn't even function and they refuse to fix it. Our current bill is now $12,000 instead of the original $7,000... DO NOT GET REPAIRS DONE HERE!
Would not recommend, Unfortunately. Could not get a response via email for service. Took a little waiting to get a call back. Tech shows up and spends most of the time walking back and forth from truck for what should be a simple inspection of tilt cylinders. Spent 45 mins in shop working on the quote and says they're going to bill me an hour. Get bill for 1.5 hours and a quote for transporting forklift back to their facility to get a better quote. Cylinder seals are not a big job. Replace the seals and move on.. not $200 here to quote, $600 there quote and maybe we can do it.. Very unprofessional. I mean who comes in to look at tilt cylinders then only provides a solid quote for a starter.. My god, GYST.
Do not recommend. They had our fork lift for months charging rental the whole time. Finally returned it only to find out the problems weren't fixed. After over $8,000 of repairs/rentals our fork lift still didn't run. Gave up on them, switched to a competitor, and they fixed it in a week. Thinking about a law suit to recoup our losses.
Sara and Dave, I appreciate what they have done for us. We were under the gun with shipments coming in and having to break pallets down on truck and offload. They were prompt and diligent tracking parts down. They got us up and running and now are taking care of our maintenance needs to bring lift to safe manner. Sara made sure we got taken care of and followed up professionally. Dave as busy as he is, made sure we were good and safe. He cleaned up lift and area, and gave us that assurement we were handled well. Thank You, Deryk Roberson Interactive Energies Group
This review is from Suburban Toyota Troy: Quick service we called yesterday and they showed up early this morning. Stuart the tech was friendly and fast with a diagnosis. Turns out the issue is more serious than a parking lot repair so they're picking up the lift and will repair at their shop.
Front office personal are very kind and helpful, they showed me to the correct area when i entered the wrong door. The gentlemen in the part department were very knowledgeable about the parts i was looking for and the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely be returning to them for all my forklift parts.
Don't recommend doing businesses with Quantum. Since day 1 of purchasing a used forklift it has had nothing but issues. Countless promises not being met and being pushed off until the warranty is up. Offered to buy a new one from them instead, and still no response. Really good at calling you multiple times to make an initial sale, then they kick you to the curb when you find out you bought a money pit. New or used, you should make things right. We weren't told we were buying a used forklift that needs thousands dumped into it to make it useable. Save yourself a ton of hassle, purchase elsewhere.
