Had a very quick and easy visit here for my employment urine drug test. I echo what others have said definitely make appointment if you can since you get to be seen priority even if you’re a little late to the appointment time. I had an 215pm appointment arrived maybe 220 and checked in easily with their kiosk. After maybe 3-4 minute wait nurse was ready to see me. Whole process was seamless and quick if you done urine test before. Place was pretty easy to find once you arrived at the correct building. Whole floor is quite clean and well kept. I definitely prefer quest over labcorp locations.
This quest is awful and thats coming from someone who goes to many medical offices. They lock the quest floor to prevent "too many people" while the other floors and elevators are overflowing with patients from all the offices including quest. They are the only office to do so, maybe due to Quest prodecures? I wouldnt mind this or make a fuss if it weren't for inefficient the process to get to the lab was: multiple employees seem annoyed when you ask how to get to the floor and I'm certain they get asked all the time, and signs state that a guard will let you in, but the guard is never there and if you have an appointment like I did that day, you get confused and concerned. The guard on duty FJC Security Services was so rude when asked about the format, he doesnt have updated papers with patient info so he can't find the names of those with appointments like he said he did, and you just end up in cramped conditions in and out of the quest office regardless of this process. Again, Im used to waiting in medical offices and dont mind and im used to new processes from COVID and that is completely understandable, but you have to do these prodcedures have to be logical for the safety of patients and staff and a bit of patience really goes a long way. Even after I got to the quest, I had to wait anywaynothing new for quest labs. I put insurance info on the website to speed up the process but had to use my insurance card anyway. When I asked why and what was the point of the online check in system i just wanted to, honestly, the tech Suelibeth looked at me like I was foolish for wanting to know and didnt answer me. I dont know why they were so rude. It was just a really depressing experience and even when I tried to be pleasant and polite, I felt like I was intruding on something. This is my first bad review of anything and I really think this quest and the parent company should try harder to show some compassion, especially in the medical field.
Went there for a blood and urine test. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is on the 4th floor of the building. It's better to have an appointment online to avoid waiting. As I had the appointment booked beforehand, I didn't have to wait at all! Recommended
Appoint at 3pm and they close at 3:30 pm. Reached there at 3pm and the elevator is already closed. No way to contact the building. What's the point of appointment then? Leave early, understandable but we should have been informed. Wouldn't waste time coming all the way here.
Do not come here. Why? - There is no reception desk to ask questions - They don't prioritize walk-ins at all - People with appointments were being seen much later than their scheduled time - The nurse is extremely rude and will try to walk away from you and nearly yell at you when you ask when they can see you Initially was told I would wait 45 min to 1 hr for being a walk-in. I waited for 1 hr 45 min and left after a bad encounter with the nurse, after she said that they had no plans to see me as long as there were people with appointments. If that's the case, why even allow walk-ins? They clearly have no regard for others' time, are short staffed, and seem to be mismanaged as there were way too many people upstairs waiting room, downstairs waiting room, and lobby than they could handle.
It’s not really a long queue but the people who work in this facility are really slow, mostly chitchatting. My appointment was 11:30am, waiting at the ground flr, got up in their floor at 12pm. Still waiting to be called. Around 12:45pm the lady called my name and asked for my insurance card and the request from the doctor. I showed it to her in my phone but she said to send it in her email. Now, it took awhile of waiting again. At 1:15pm, i spoke with one of the staff and following up why I hasnt been called again. Then few mins the lady came and said im sorry we do not accept the document you sent me in email, we need a requisition from your doctor. It was 1:30pm at that time. I WASTED 2 HOURS WAITING FOR NOTHING. My blood test is only Vitamin D level and it took me 2 hours for them to tell me that they cant do it because they need this requisition from my doctor. She could have told me that from the beginning. Instead of waiting. Definitely, first and last visit in QUEST DIAGNOSTIC of any branch. Bad service.
It's because of Quest that I had to scramble and reschedule my flight to Europe last minute. They advertise next day results but that's a lie. If you call there is nobody to pick up and speak to. The only pleasant experience was interacting with the very nice employee who took the swab, but if you need a covid test for a trip, go somewhere else but Quest.
Simply, look for another location if you don’t like to be treated with an attitude and ignorant. I just wanted to ask a question and the nurse responded by saying “ go wait in the waiting room and we will call you when it’s your turn” before even I have the chance to finish my question.
I am deeply disappointed I have to type this review instead of a good one but has to be done hopefully they will make the necessary changes! Me and my wife had an appointment at 10:45 am walk in and there is nobody to help us, we finally talk to someone and they tell us to wait in lobby they are coming in every 15 mins calling patients in. I ask how do they know we are here if we don’t sign in no reply back! Ok we wait patiently in lobby for 3 hours!!!! Mind you the quest office is in the 4th floor so we finally go upstairs and tell the lady in the front and she gets terribly rude with no compassion for us and actually tells us to leave that she will not take us in!! Unbelievable!! She calls in the other nurses and they get rude also, the big lady in the front desk starts stomping around yelling “I am not the one!” She got angry because she lied and said she been goin downstairs calling people when obviously she wasn’t, we were for 3 hours in a compact little lobby room full of people with this pandemic smh we couldn’t stand it , I hope they do something about her, finally with all the horrible service I refused to let them touch me and my wife I don’t trust anyone of them! So I calmly called my doctor made an appointment for next day and left!! I advice you to not even think of goin here till they get their things together just look at the 2.8 review it’s baaad! Inconsiderate people at a place where patients need comfort and care what has this world come to !!
Overall, it was not a bad experience. When you walk in, you have to check in on the tablet and then they will call your name out. It was pretty fast and efficient. I really liked my phlebotomist and I was out the door in an hour as I came in when there were not that many people. I would come back again.
