With appt is fine. Make sure you get one. But if for some reason you have to come back with urine sample for example your kids , they make you sign in and wait just to drop of that sample! Ridiculous. Make another appointment just to drop off samples.
If you visit the place without an appointment, I STRONGLY recommend not using that QR code on their check-in device. For some reason, when you go to schedule an appointment with that QR code, it shows nothing available all the way up to December. However, if you manually look up quest diagnostics, you will find that there are even same day appointments available. That QR code is a scam and I’m exposing them for it!
Worst place.. Rude and very unprofessional staff. Quest promotoes online check but every time I checked online the staff at the facility were upset and put me in the wueue to wait. Even they took off my name from the waiting list display. Quest should look into this matter ASAP and train its staff to accept digital check in or else it’s the waste to invest in building digital system to improve customer experience
Super nice and knowledgeable staff. I made an appointment online, checked in at the kiosk, and was in and out super quick. Less than 10 minutes. Really appreciate the nice staff!
Extremely rude and indescribably unprofessional. We waited for over an hour only to be told that "the code" on our doctor’s prescription for a repeat blood test, one we had just had there a month ago was for Labcorp. We had the lab technician talk to our doctor’s office and instead of easily resolving this miscommunication by asking for the code for the Quest system she instead chose to tell us off to “go to Labcorp”. Let me repeat that• the Quest Diagnostics technician on 13-AUG-2022 at 4914-4922 Kennedy Boulevard, in WNY 07093, had us wait for an hour for a pediatric blood test and instead of correcting the error with our doctor on the phone she literally told us to “ go to Labcorp”. Save yourselves the time, trouble and insult and go to any other medical lab.
Claimed to have same-day appointments for COVID PCR and Influenza tests but once I actually got there, checked in, and waited 20 minutes they told me to go Somewhere else
Very friendly staff. 15 minutes was the total wait time which is great. The waiting area is clean.
My infant son needed to get blood drawn and I'm glad I chose this location. The team took really good care of him, overwhelming him with stickers, offering words of encouragement throughout and overall just really kind and caring people. I booked an appointment same day, showed up a few minutes before and was seen in about 3 minutes. The location is a bit hard to find, its on the second story of a strip of stores and the signage isn't great from the street, but otherwise would highly recommend. Book an appointment online beforehand and you'll be in good hands.
DO NOT GO HERE. Avoid Quest Diagnostics, particularly this location, at all costs. If possible to give 0 stars, I would. I had an appointment for 9 AM. I got to Quest at 8:55 AM and checked in through my phone, after being sent a link from Quest to check in. I received a screen of "Thank you, you are checked in." However, I noticed my name didn't appear on the list of many people on the screen in the waiting room, showing the order of who was next. I figured it would show up at 9 AM. It did not, and there was no one to speak to. I decided to check in again at the in-person kiosk in the waiting room. My name appeared and the screen told me it would be 30 minutes. After 15 minutes my name suddenly disappeared off the screen. When a nurse finally came out I mentioned this. After much back and forth she said my name wasn't on the list of appointments, and I didn't have one. I showed her the text message I'd received as well as confirmation email with QR code for my appointment. About 15 minutes later she brought me back, still insisting I didn't have an appointment. She showed me her desktop screen which showed I checked in at 9:02 AM, and she said that b/c I was 2 minutes late to my appointment, I was now a walk-in appointment, and had given up my appointment. She would not listen when I told her I'd already checked in first at 8:55 via my phone. Also, in what world would people who arrive TWO minutes late lose their appointment? Finally, I was able to have my blood draw only for her to tell me that Quest no longer sends bloodwork results STAT, which is what my doctor needed and requested. So the entire point of going to Quest for a quick appointment with immediate results was out the window, I should have gone to my doctor. Please save yourself the time and frustration and avoid this location, as well as Quest all-together. If they allow one location to operate like this, that means they allow multiple locations to operate like this.
With an appointment I was called in right on time. The staff was professional. I am someone who has a fear of getting blood work but they were very quick about it and I had a pleasant experience.
