Was visiting Smithsonian with my cousins and they knew about this food court. Had to pass through security but it was a easy deal. The food court is excellent. Tons of room and plenty of choices. My wife and I ate from Quick Pita because we are partial to Mediterranean style foods. Considering you are DC the prices were good, the food was good and more than enough to fill us up. The workers were friendly and the food was prepared quickly just like the name says.
Friendly service, delicious food and lots of options. We ducked into the Reagan building to try to find a place to eat that wasn't a sandwich. There are too many sandwich places in DC. I had already decided I probably wanted gyro, but when we arrived at this stall, we were greeted with samples! I had a hard time trying to decide what I wanted to eat and the samples just kept rolling out until I was able to make a decision. We ordered a gyro plate and a beef schwarma. Everything was great. I loved the salads, I loved the rice, I loved the pita, which tasted home made... This place should have been way busier.
Fantastic restaurant hidden away in DC. I first ate at Quick Pita in October 2015 on a trip to DC. My brother lives in DC and took my visiting family to the food court in the basement of the Ronald Reagan building during a day of exploring. A businessman waiting in line at Quick Pita told me it was the best place there. I got in line. The staff are very friendly and the food is flavorful. I was back in DC in March 2016 and went again. This time my entire family tried Quick Pita for lunch one day and it did not disappoint. I'd go again. Highly recommended.
Excellent food main meats BUT they do not give you enough food for the cost. $10.99 includes a gyro, fries and drink. The pita needed about 3x more gyro, the French Fries also needed to be doubled at least and were totally bland. Salt didn’t even help them. Add some flavor, please! They also want $1 to refill the drink. Won’t be back. It’s a huge cafeteria - try somewhere else.
I guess the address is incorrect. This is located at the Food Court inside the Reagan Building. I am vegetarian and trying to find a place with decent vegetarian can be difficult sometimes. I found this little gem during my recent trip to DC. I absolutely love it!! Homemade food, fresh, filling, just excellent. Recommended.
The schedule online on google is always wrong, they close at 430 or earlier MOST TIMES unless they open late. I travel a long distance on metro just to get there Falafel in pita , it has been my favorite since I first ate it a few months ago. But today drew the line , online it say it closes at 7 I literally get there at 5 and they were closed. If you call and no one answers, the store is definitely closed. I recommend that Quickpita just change there hours so other customers would be aware.
To begin, the food is nothing special... whats much worse is their service. I ordered food and it was delivered late; starving i give them the money and shut the door. I found out all i got was my meal they forgot the salad and drink that i ordered with it. I called the place back and they told me if i wanted the food i would have to come to the store and pick it up. they would not refund me they would not bring me the food. they basically robbed me. do not order from this place. please do not give this pathetic restaurant any service
Our familiy tried this food court whilst in D.C. 4 of us tried the pita gyros and it was great. The food court concept is brilliant. It was clean and the service was good too.
Gave samples and explained the menu. Even was patient with my son changing his mind. Food was excellent. Meat was well seasoned.
One of the best meat i have ever ate...the service is excellent and the workers are friendly...the meat actually has a great authentic taste which is awesomeI recommend this restaurant if u want good food
