Love this place! Can’t say enough good things, the food is delicious of course, most important the location is great, clean and welcoming space, and best for last…the customer service is always amazing shoutout to Andrew & Tomas - so great! The employees are so nice, answer any questions and prepare the food with care. I love the pollo guisado, side of plantains do yourselves a favor and order some, even though you’ll probably be too full to finish because the portions are very generous, worth it and the passion fruit juice is SO yummy. If you’re anywhere near Pearl Street, swing over and get an arepa. You’ll be so happy and you’ll probably have enough leftover for lunch tomorrow too!
I had an amazing time in this restaurant. Igor and Becky owners were very welcoming. They shared the inspiration behind their recipes and were patient with my group of 4 friends. The food was mouth watering and felt like I’d visited a part of Venezuela just by the ambience they provided! 100% recommend!!! Parking: There’s roughly a 10 car parking area located either behind the building. And also street parking infront on the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: It’s very spacious in the restaurant and leaves plenty to move around. Also Igor and Becky owners will gladly move furniture around to accommodate needs.
WOW!!! What a great establishment! The customer service was awesome! Tom and Andrew were incredibly funny and hospitable. They made my Arepa quick! And not only is my mouth still salivating as I’m writing this, but the passion fruit drink was a perfect accent to a delicious meal! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Dietary restrictions: They are gluten free!
They just reopened. The arepas were phenomenal. The plantains are sweet and delicious. The passion fruit juice was the perfect mix of sweet and sour. Thomas and Andrew were also amazing and kind servers.Food: 5/5
Was an awesome food truck, not surprised to see this growing. Amazing variety of Venezuelan arepas which is basically a flatbread sandwich. I got the ham one with the watermelon fresh juice, plantains are awesome too. I liked it. Nice friendly service, came up fast, plenty of indoor seating, street parking. A must try!
This place was a food truck during the Pearl Street farmers market and now has a place right on Pearl. They have a variety of Arepas which are very tasty and delicious! The bread/dough is light and cooked to perfection. Everything taste fresh as well! I have ordered the children and shredded beef which are my personal favorites. This place can be very busy on the weekends.
The Pabellon was a perfect fusion of flavors with well seasoned meat, plantains, black beans, cheese, and their guac/cilantro sauce. Will be back to try other arepas!Food: 5/5
Absolutely fantastic. First time going here today and I think this will become one of my new regular spots. Get the pabellon. You won't be disappointed.Food: 5/5
This is one of the best handheld food inventions in the world. It was my first time at Avanti and I made a beeline to Quiero Arepas. Wow. Look at that avocado. The plantains were juicy and sweet, great combo with the soft, perfectly salted arepa and mild cheese. Loved this arepa so much. Can’t wait to try the others. Thank you for your craft !
first time here and i ordered the pollo guisado. 10/10 full send. i’ll definitely come back with friends to share the experience!
