Quincy Point Self Service Car Wash

If I could give negative stars, I would. I stopped by for a quick wash maybe about 2 weeks ago & the coin machines weren't operational, so I went elsewhere. I stopped by again more recently, thinking "obviously they've HAD to have fixed the change machines by now", lo & behold...they STILL haven't fixed them. It's good to have 2 machines, but what good is it if neither work? So anyways, the next time I make sure to bring the adequate money/change, & right off the bat...the vacuum is horrible. It wouldn't vacuum up anything, I had to block half of the attachment to make it work at all. That's all I'm going to say about the actual machines/provisions, otherwise this will be even longer than its already become. One more thing, I feel I have to mention the state of the place in general. Trash almost always overflowing from the barrels, the bays are disgusting, if they're even functional. The saddest thing is, this isn't even the worst one I've been to. Regardless, I won't be returning anytime soon, unless they start to give a hoot about the place. Sorry for the rant. It just bothers me, it wouldn't take all that much to make this a halfway decent spot. Just put a little effort into maintaining it. We're not asking for spotless water, foam cannons, & air hoses for drying or anything. How about just a clean & functioning carwash?

Coin exchanger was not functional. When washing my car the soap gun and brush were non operational leaving me able to wash my car with water. Spent 5 dollars when I could have just let it rain over my car for free. Don’t go here

Half of the bays were not operational. The high pressure water gun had a massive leak from the connection point, creating 4-5 water jets making it nearly impossible to use it. Trash in all bays. The $5 to start is also a lot more expensive than any other car washes I’ve seen. No option to pay with a credit card. It’s obvious that this car wash is neglected and I will not be returning to use it again.

It's a good place if you want to wash your car yourself, sometimes the drive through carwashes don't get all the stuff of your car so for 5 bucks you can get some pressured water and soap here. I wouldn't reccomend for the "hardcore" detailing job, but if you need a quick rinse, this will do the job. Make sure you bring cash at least 10$ in singles or 2 fives

Hands down the worst car wash I have ever been to. $2 for a vacuum that has barely any suction and $5 for 4:00 minutes in the bays with terrible pressure, Total waste of time and money! At least they don’t take $20 bills to rip you off !

This is suppose to be 24x7 but they turn off the lights at night! The machines need to be updated. They have issues accepting dollar bills.

Great place to quickly rinse your car. However the vacuums are $2 to start and I think you only get four minutes so basically it’s going to cost you four dollars to vacuum your car. Other than that it’s just your plain self service car wash.

Usually the vacuums not working, most of the bays needs an urgent attention, and change machine empty most of the time...that makes me wonder if there is someone who take care of this place ?

Bay 4 ate my money. No numbers to call or anything. Very irritating. Update, went back today May 21st 2023 - Bay 2 ate my money and the operating machine is completely broken. Place sucks even more than it did the last time I was there. DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AND LIKELY LOSE YOUR MONEY. Spend the extra $10 and go to Scrub a Dub or Prestige. This business should be held accountable for such a low service level.

I think this is a great place to wash car because not crowded and in safe area. I’m from MS and drove to Boston so needed to wash car and this one was conveniently located near hotel. The change machine didn’t work but may be by now. I was there late October 2022.
