The picnic in a snow globe event was AWESOME!! Can't wait to go back when it's warmer to see the animals.
Small and intimate but has all the animals you could ask for. We visited on a very cold and windy day so most of the animals were sheltering in place. They have many animal friendly programs which have explanatory signs and placards to keep visitors informed.
Cool zoo, got to feed some giraffes. Its a nice little place. The aviary experience was fun unless you are not a fan of Alfred Hitchcocks Birds.

Small wonderful zoo only $10.00 per adult. Restaurant and gift shop. Smooth paths that are tarmac and concrete make it very barefoot friendly.
I go here all the time with family, and even though we have gone multiple times, the little ones are always so happy to see all the animals.
It's a nice zoo kind of small. Was upset because the giraffes were not out due to construction being done on their site but they did not disclose that on their website.
