Overall food is really good. Pad See Ew was okay. Basil Fried Rice was really good. Adding eggs to both will be better. Drunken noodles is really good. And house fried rice was good also but seems a bit on the dry side. Would maybe recommend getting a curry instead.
Got delivery from here. It was pretty decent thai food. We tried the pad thai, green curry, bang bang shrimp and soup. Flavors were good but it didn't stand up to some of my favorite Thai places. I would try this place again at the restaurant to see what it tastes like fresh from the kitchen.Food: 4/5
I would describe this as fast-food Thai. Potatoes and carrots in masaman curry were under-cooked, chicken was cheap low grade chicken, Tom Kha soup broth was meh. An authentic and great Thai place should not have a sign hanging up for “Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls”. Egg rolls at a Thai place? Let alone Philly cheesesteak egg rolls.. yuck. If you want great authentic Thai, Thai Basil is still the best place in Charlotte, in my opinion.
2024 - we went again. Love love the food. Amazing service by Aileen. She was so friendly , taking time to have a conversation, recommend what to eat.. she was lovely.. One of the best Red curry I have had... Parking behind the restaurant free for 90 minutes as of Jan 2024.. 2023 - Amazing and delicious food. The restaurant is small but totally worth a try. Parking: Street parking. Public parking nearby.
They were amazing til they weren’t. The rice started getting really gummy. The portions very tremendously.you notice when you eat there often I love the flavor of the dishes and the sushi is bomb! Great atmosphere for sushi & a drink. Parking is very limited as the takeout section. The location is definitely dine in, limited out door seating.
This was a first time visit for us. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, attentive, and just pleasant to be around. The holiday drink specials were delicious! The red Curry and Lad Nah was fantastic. We got the Lad Nah in a heat level 3 which was all of that. The Curry had just the right amount of heat. Summer rolls were fresh and crisp! We got 2 meals from each entrée which was very tasty for lunch the next day. Would definitely return! Food was prompt and HOT! We had no issues parking on the street at 6. Definitely return! Parking: We arrived at 6 pm on Thursday. Multiple syreat spots available within 300 feet of business.
Amazing! Kinda pricey but some of the best Thai I've had in Charlotte! Get the Thai beef jerky appetizer!Food: 5/5
Ambiance - yes Services - eh Food - mediocre drink - yummy I am a feen for Asian food, this Thai spot really isn’t it. The pad Thai regular not crunchy had a lot of sauce but the flavor lacked taste! The sangria was yummy ! The wings was ok & so was the rice. Both made for some great left overs the next day.
The food : My wife and I ate the Kao Soy Chicken. We had no complaints. The curry was wonderful ! It’s clear this restaurant knows how to make a good curry dish so we will definitely seek out this location in the future. Music : one of my biggest issues with the location was the music. It was non stop hip hop with cursing. It’s not my taste and it felt out of place. For the reason if I return it will be to order out , not to dine in. Customer service : our waitress was very attentive and kind. Overall aside from the music and the cooking crew taking their garbage outside through the main dining area we loved the experience.
Just okay. Came all the way out to south end from the suburbs.. and was disappointed. The food is average, at best and the service was not good either. There are better places in Charlotte for thai food. They can do better!
