You're guaranteed to find at least one or two albums you just gotta buy with every visit. I don't mind it being small inside and not having thousands upon thousands of records, I just wished it wasn't so awkward moving around when there's 5 or more people shopping. You might feel rushed flipping through a bin.

Lots of classics along with new music on vinyls.  The gentleman there was very nice and informative. Definitely recommend!

To say Rainbow Records is very well organized would be an understatement.  I'm always impressed with a great selection of vinyl records.  They have records to cover about 95% of an individuals taste. Answering a few questions and they can suggest something you might even know you needed.

Pillar of the local music scene since the 70s, this is a great spot. Parking can be dicey but that's just how Newark is.
