We started with beers and cheese curds. The beer was good - the curds amazing! Next we moved on to burgers and fries - both tasty but nothing too special. Finally we gave the Mac n cheese a try - after applying a lil salt it was actually very good! The only complaint I have is that although the place wasn't very busy - the kitchen was slow to push out food. From our seats we could watch the kitchen staff and they look to still be looking to find their rhythm.. btw: our waitress Christine was stellar.
A new, fun, vibrant restaurant in a new, fun, vibrant location of Dublin. Decor and layout are modern, open & appealing providing ample seating. The menu has good variety with their own twists. Service was prompt, pleasant & engaging. Serving sizes are hearty. We had a good time and enjoyed all we sampled.
Really nice bar serving some good food. The menu is limited in the after hours but the food is great. The service is a lot better than another bar I visited close to this place. It's a sports bar so big screens playing games. Great ambience. The tap beer is good too. I quite like the food I got served as well. Recommend this place highly
Very good burger not overcooked seasonal beer was excellent standard beer was okay lacking flavor the kitchen is very slow but the service was great very nice server. The cheese curds were very very good.
Food was delicious but took forever and was not hot. I believe however that it was due to our party size. Still should be noted that they may not be able to handle large groups efficiently. I had the jethro burger and sweet potato fries which were very tasty and we'll made and seasoned. If it was not for the burger not being hot I would have no issue with the food.
Interior seemed new and modern. Everything on the food menu looked pretty good. Got the chowder and a wheat beer that were both tasty. Only gripe is the types of beer flights available. I wanted to get a flight by myself but the flights available we're definitely geared towards if two were sharing.
We went for the first time today after voting and were greeted with a friendly smile and shown to our booth in the dining area upstairs. The server was very friendly and knowledgable about the beer and especially the dark beers including stouts and porters. I had the Geek Beer burger with a $2.00 up charge for Sweet Potato fries. I asked that the applewood bacon be crispy and it was. Everything was excellent including the porter she had recommended. We'll definitely return.
Went for lunch and had a good time. Food was good, although a little overpriced. Similar to other Brew pubs, nice casual dining with outdoor seating.
My family was in town from Cincinnati for a soccer tourney. As we do whenever we're in a new town as craft beer lovers, we searched for the nearest brewery to our hotel & RAM was it. I will say that the food & beer was delicious. Absolutely no complaint there. However...it took the waitress 13 minutes after I decided to look at my watch because I was getting aggravated for a waitress to greet us at our table. 3 waiters/waitresses & a manager passed our table several times as we waited & not one even looked at us - if they did...they would have known I was aggravated because I was waiting to make eye contact w/ SOMEONE to ask what was going on. Our waitress, Emily, finally arrived & she was nice. She didn't apologize for the wait but she made some good suggestions & was pleasant. Then...we waited 27 minutes from the time we finished our food until she got us our bill. To Express my readiness to be checked out...I stacked all of our plates & stood next to the table. I'm 6'3" & 300 lbs - I'm not hard to see. I ordered a howler 32 oz growler to go. I noticed that she grabbed one from a neighboring table but I DID NOT think there was any way that would be used for our take out order. I was wrong, I assume. At the hotel, I was pouring the last cup of beer from the howler & a pen cap fell out of it into my cup!!!! I was disgusted & called the restuarant. I talked to the Asst. Manager named Miles. I proceeded my complaint by saying I was from out of town & wouldn't be returning so I didn't want anything "free". I told him about what happened & he seemed concerned. Not nearly enough though. I told him I was disgusted & he described what happened by saying "That's unfortunate". I said I thought Emily must have put it in there on purpose because how could a pen cap happen to fall into the mouth of a howler? He asked "Did she take it the howler from a table?"...I said "I sure hope not. Why would she do that especially when I could see 10-20 of them in a display case at the front?" He said it was a common practice & that someone must have put the cap in there while it was at a table!!! So, I said my problem NOW is that the bartender definitely didn't wash out the howler before pouring my beer or the pen cap would have been discovered at that point. Still...Miles feels like "that's unfortunate". Unreal. What's "unfortunate" is that I had to discover this nastiness as I poured my last beer! Miles DID say "If you want to come back tomorrow, I'd be happy to buy you a few beers or send you home w/ a growler". That's unreal to me...no thanks, Miles. I just found a pen cap in the one I ordered tonight. Not only that...what if there were kids at that table & they were dropping crayons in there? Or boogers which I just read in a previous 1-star review or something else? My mind was running wild with the possibilities of what nasty things could have entered that howler that sat, unclosed, at a strangers table for who knows how long! I'm literally feeling sick to my stomach as I write this. I told Miles he needs to tighten things up & have a staff meeting & remind his employees to WASH OUT HOWLERS THAT SIT AT TABLES WITH MULTIPLE GUESTS for who knows how long. That seems like common sense to me. Honestly, using howlers that have sat at tables with any amount of customers seems like a terrible idea, in general. I can't believe that is a "common practice" as Miles described. This HAS TO be a health code violation. I've been to hundreds of breweries all over the U.S. & this is the worst, & certainly the most disgusting, experience I've ever had. I rarely write bad reviews - I usually let my tip tell of my disappointment - but I had to on this occasion. Look at my past reviews of you dont believe me. A strong majority of my reviews are positive & giving praise. This happened on 9/21/18. 9:38pm
Had the Hefe after a lengthy wait. There were 6 people at the bar but seated and three table occupied. I sat at a table by the door and watched the staff look at me 3 times over 15 minutes before someone finally came to my table. The beer was very good, hard to overlook the lack of fair service though. My wife bought me a Mug Club card for Christmas after we visited the High Street location. Not sure if I still like it as much as I did after I first received it. Meaning my other experience was much more positive than the experience of being ignored on my second go around.
