Rancho Engine Machine

Dishonest owner charged for service not rendered. I paid for a complete valve job grind valves, pressure test and resurface base on a Nissan 2.5 cylinder head. Apparently Rick felt that it was in such great shape that he instead just cleaned up the exterior using a wire brush and installed the new valve guide seals I gave him. When I got it home I called Rick to complain that there was dirt and debris throughout the cylinder head passages. He said that EPA won't let him use harsh degreaser. It's a ridiculous excuse considering that simple off the shelf degreaser from Wally World easily cleaned up the mess he left behind. I should've known not to leave my parts because he wasn't too friendly when he said he didn't care about Google reviews after I told him that I chose his shop based on good online reviews.

I needed to get my Honda CRX flywheel resurfaced when installing a new clutch and pressure plate. The work was done quickly and they recommended I change out the pilot bearing. Good work and a great price. I'd go back again and probably will soon.

By far the best machine service in the west Ricky knows what he is doing, honest, fair on time and precise with the machine. couldn't recommend any other place.

My wifes PT Cruiser needed wheel bearings pressed. Time was pressing. I called the local shops in my town and I couldn't get an over the phone quote. Unbelievable! It was like pulling teeth. Couldnt even get a ballpark range without them needing to "see it first" . or "its too late in the day" 11:00am. so Ridiculous ! I Then came across This machine shop that truly is the real deal! After calling and getting a straight forward quote at 3pm. I went there I saw the technician had a lot going on but still had the confidence to assure me he could complete it before closing. I was releived. That meant i didnt have to reschedule anything My wife and I had planned already. Man kept his word. No doubt about it. Knowledgeable, skilled, and courteous. If you need a shop that'll get it done Rancho Engine Shop is the one. Ricky is your boy! Honest to goodness cool cat right there.

Ricky promised bearings would be pressed within two hours same day dropped off. One hour later...I was picking up my completed project!
