I most definitely feel this is my favorite PARK EVER NOW IN CHARLOTTE BECAUSE IT'S WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE FOR ME AT FREEDOM PARK. RANDOLPH RD PARK IS NICE AND QUIET AND I CAN GET MY PEACE AND WORK OUT IN. Toilets: Clean and smells good
Went to watch a metro girls league soccer game tonight. The whole park was hopping with activities and a lot of people in attendance. Guess what? The restrooms were closed with one port-a-john available. Bummer!!! The soccer game was almost over and all of the field lights turned off. No regard to the game in progress and for the safety of the players and fans as they had to exit the field in total darkness. Toilets: They were closed with a large number of players and fans in attendance.
I have not gone through the entire park., only the soccer field at the entrance. It appears that there are more sports fields available including a refreshment stand. Toilets: I'm sure they have restrooms, but there is a portal potty in the parking lot also. Dog-friendliness: I've seen quite a few people walking their pooches here.
First time to this park for softball and enjoyed it. Such a relief to have multiple fields and bathrooms with young kids. We were able to find the entrances and the map in the parking lot was clearly marked which fields are which location with many fields. We look forward to the season. Toilets: Open on the weekends during practices.
Great concessions for games. Lots of parking. Love the fans at Keith Field
For what we pay in taxes, the restrooms should be open. One portajohn not ADA compliant is unacceptable. Dog friendly, ground are decent. Parking can be tight at times.
The Keith Field is amazing.
Soccer fields where an absolute disaster. Goal box was a lake. Ruts all throughout the field. No grass or field markings. Could not even play our game. 10/09/22 update field was in much better condition this time lines where painted and field was dry also had sufficient lighting.
Love it there. A pond where duckies abound, trails throughout, often Myers Park little Leaguers practicing for games, plenty metal bleachers. Some smaller fields sectioned off with closeable gates serve as great spots for playing ball with your dog. Lots of parking and a bus stop right near entrance. Available Port-a-Potties not disgusting. At night don't be surprised to see a big buck meander through as I once did.
Fantastic park. Lot of fields for baseball/softball and soccer. Even have a concession stand which is a plus when your kid is playing a game. I would give it five stars, but the city is slow to clean the trash and bathrooms on the lower field, but that is what you receive with government.
