Rasputin Music

Great place for used vinyl. Which most is in good shape for a great price. Prices are a couple of bucks cheaper than Amoeba, which is down the street. I like this store better than Berkeley and Pleasant Hill for vinyl selection. Berkeley's pretty good.

The older bald headed dude that appeared to be the manager got kind of pissy about exchanging a shirt a few times. They have a nice selection of shirts though they don't have any 2x, so I bought one for a friend who is regular a med, but that was too small, so I tried a large but once again it was not big enough. So I took my friend in so she could look for herself. That solved that problem, she then bough one for her son who is in the Air Force and is away. After getting a large she took it home and the shirt as with the one I got for her does not run true to size so we went back to get a bigger shirt. Anyway the final straw was buying one for my son and figuring a large I would get him an X L, well this particular venders size was actual fit to size so I wound up having to go back for a Large. That's when they guy asked me how many times was I gonna come back to exchange shirts. Well the answer is simple, never as I will never go back period. They guy should realize that with Ameba right down the block and 3 other places with in a stones throw from his place that a little patience would keep people coming back.

The Haight location has a decent variety of CDs, turntables, record players, and LPs. The store feels rather small but still welcoming.
