I recently had an accident and needed advise about what steps to take regarding my severely damaged car. I called Raymond Auto Body and spoke with Brad. Even though my car had been towed to a closer shop Brad was so helpful talking me through the whole process. He answered any and all of my questions honestly which was comforting. He obviously knows his stuff and was more than kind with helping a potential customer. On the reals, Brad you were so awesome! Thank you again!
Just got my car back after someone hit my door in a parking lot. I received personal service from the owner Jason. Fantastic having him handle the insurance approval. Best of all the car looks MINT! I would never go to another bodyshop. I have high standards and want my vehicles to look perfect. Raymond Auto exceeded my expectations!
Good customer service at the front desk. The assessors are nice. However, don’t think they’ll assess your vehicle thoroughly. My assessor left out some important components for the rest of my car after a 2 minute “assessment”. He didn’t seem to want to listen to me. He was in a rush like he just had a gallon of coffee. Or something else. Will not be going back. Not sure why he treated me like that after raising my concerns. I should’ve known given they had many same day appointments available the day I called.
Brad and Katie as well as the rest of the Raymond Auto Body team went above and beyond and returned my vehicle beyond better than what it was before the accident. They kept in touch and were very good with updating me with the progress of the repairs. Though insurance did not quote and appraise the repairs correctly which caused the stall in repairs, once Raymond Auto Boday got the okay from insurance the car was repaired and done within less than a week.
Raymond's attention to detail and quality of work is unmatched. I am picky and have high standards. Joel took care of all my concerns and completely stood by their work and warranty. They are booked out quite a ways but that's because they do great work, customers know that, and only go there for body work. Worth the wait.
The best customer service I have experienced in years! The highlights: - very easy to work with and clear and correct estimate from the start - the business has a well staffed front office who are personable and clearly care about their work and their clients. AND THEY ANSWER THE PHONE RIGHT AWAY AND CAN HELP. Who does this anymore?? - the work on the vehicle was impeccable - the communication from Jason Slomkowski was clear and he texted, left voicemails and called to talk about additional findings while the work was being completed - To top it all off, they helped me find ways to get my car to them and my car back to me while i balance a hectic schedule and out of town travel for work - i dropped my vehicle off the day before i left out of town and brought me back to my house free of charge - they then brought my car to the airport the day i arrived back in Minneapolis and i seamlessly was able to pickup my car at the airport valet. this actually SAVED me money as i didn't pay for long-term parking for the week. Overall i have been so impressed and would recommend everyone check Raymond Auto Body as your first call when getting vehicle repairs completed. A+ job to the entire staff. You guys have a customer for life and someone who will be an ambassador going forward.
Very professional and honest folks! Especially Brad was amazing. He gave very honest opinion on the car damage. Given the nature of damage, he offered free courtesy fix next day. Such a kind gesture. God Bless...
I waited a while to write this as I knew I was probably unreasonably upset when I got my GT3 back. I am also thinking about the time when I had my 330i repaired here, so I will talk about both experiences. One common thing is that in both cases, in the end, cosmetically I am very happy with the results. I am also happy with the experience I had with the manager of my case Jake when the GT3 was being fixed. Very communicative and seemed very intent in making sure I was happy in the end. Now onto the things that I was not as happy about. When I went to examine the GT3 after the paint was still outgassing but prior to retrieval, it was clear that all the body panels in the front were misaligned. The factory specifications were not followed. The unfortunate part about this is that the realignment is visible now when the hood is opened, I still need to fix this with some touch up paint. A Porsche certified shop should do better. I shouldn't have to point out how to put panels on a car, the customer should not have to be the expert. Next, when picking up the car, I immediately realized that the AC had not been charged, which was rectified while I waited. After this, I find out that the car is basically running on fumes, so off to the gas station so I can get home. On the way home I find out that the stereo is now nonfunctional, most likely due to the car being jumped incorrectly. There is a metallic rattle coming from the front end over bumps. Finally after getting home I find coolant splashed all over the engine bay and a CEL is on now for the secondary air pump which was not present when I dropped the car off. I am absolutely irate at this point. In the end Autoedge took care of all the loose ends that Raymond left, and while Raymond did foot some of the bill, I was left with a significant $1.5k+ bill to replace the SAI pump. I am generally happy with the cosmetics of the car. The mechanical work, and pickup experience was awful and I cannot recommend it. The other thing I will note is when I had my 330i fixed here, it was pretty clear that it had been taken out to lunch at some point I never eat in the car and that too, was returned on fumes when there was certainly much more in the tank when it was dropped off. This was back in ~2014 or so, so who knows how relevant this is at this point. Anyway, a mixed bag here. I think they do great paint work, but my experience could have been much better. I really did appreciate small details like reprinting the options sticker on the underside of the hood, but I would have gladly traded that for actually having my car fixed correctly in the first place.
My car wasn’t even 2 months old and got hit. I wasn’t happy about it and wanted it to look like it never happened. I had really strong recommendations to use Raymond Auto Body by my brothers. I had pretty bad anxiety about it and from the moment I called them, I felt at ease. The ladies at the front desk were beyond professional I know ones name was Lisa telling me they will take care of everything from the appointment to getting a rental. They made it such an easy process for me. Ryan was assigned to work on my car and I couldn’t have been happier. He would call me in a timely manner to give me updates on insurance, parts, and timing on when my vehicle would be done. They did not disappoint- my car looked brand new again. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I will recommended them to everyone as my brothers did to me. Thank you so much Raymond Auto!Services: Painting
