"Re-use Hawaiʻi is a 501c3 local nonprofit organization that reduces waste by providing Deconstruction Services - an alternative to demolition - where we disassemble structures by hand and salvage what we can for reuse. The salvaged materials that come from our Deconstruction work are brought to our Redistribution Center in Kakaʻako where they are made available to the community at affordable prices. We are open to the public to shop Tuesday through Saturday from 9 to 5. Please inquire about our Deconstruction Services through our website."

A great resource for all kinds of odd items, primarily construction supplies. Doors, hardware, lumber, stoneware, and just about anything else. All used and recycled, so you can get some amazing bargains.
Great place to find great bargains, also feels good when you can recycle discarded materials. Friendly and helpful staff. Walk around and see what they have, take a mental inventory for future projects.
Love Love the concept.. Reuse, Repurpose save our land fills. Many items from sheets, furniture, beds, lamps, many many beautiful artwork from hotels. Alot of the donations are from hotel renovations. Friendly staff..go and check it out! Treasure hunting!
Great place to pick up DIY stuff. Don't want to say too much because I really don't want more people knowing about it.
Honolulu Tool Library in the Re-use Hawaii got a new tool, laser cutter. Cutting out and engraving on wood, leather, or glass not cutting out expands my project world bigger and better! And Ben has great knowledge here for us! So exciting to think about the next project!
I don't know to much about this place, although I do know that you can pick up many different kinds of material for all your around the house projects. As I receive more information about the services and material offered I will post them.I think I have included the hours of operation, and a few more tidbits of information I may have e forgotten to mention.
We love this place. Beautiful old wood to choose from for all your project needs. I could spend a lot of time wandering around here looking through all the treasures waiting to be discovered. Old door knobs, fixtures, windows, doors and so much more. The staff is all so friendly. Can't wait to get our next project done with the wood we got during our last visit here.
Super sweet staff. Excellent choices and prices. And a beautiful adopted guard cat.
Sometime it is more expensive than Home Depot or Lowes for these used items.
Great prices make sure to bargain tho if it's not new :
