Reade Street Pub & Kitchen

I used to walk by this restaurant often. The whole street is so uniquely NYC. An uplifting part of the neighborhood. I painted a portrait of this place in my series of 'Disappearing New York', which you can see on my website, kovalfineart dot com.

Nice pub. Good wine. Tasty food

american food and the setting here is super good. Visited Sat afternoon. Service is consistently above par. The bill was decent. I see why this place has so many great reviews.

Very nice neighborhood bar, place got pretty crowded on during my Friday night visit. The bartenders changed over @ 7pm. Tunes being played were from the 80's and 90's at a respectable volume where you can still hold a conversation without screaming. $22 pitchers of beer all day and night.
