They start out really nice and help you through the application process with ease. After that every day you wait hoping they will respond. They do not take care of their properties at all. 634 Spirit Ct was up for listing for what seemed like a beautiful unit but upon viewing we found a massive infestation of German roaches literally pouring out of every single appliance in the kitchen. I immediately tried contacting management but went straight to voicemail. Since I have brought up the roaches they have completely ghosted me and my wife leading me to believe I may never get my money back either. I even tried giving solutions by hiring a third party exterminator but no response was provided. I’m glad we didn’t go with RPM now because only now am I seeing just how dysfunctional they truly are.
I applied for one of their properties with 2 other people in which we all makes close to $40,000 a year and was denied because they stated due to our income wasn’t enough combined for a townhouse that was $1595.00 a month. So when I sent an emailed to get clarity of the denial the response I received was we don’t discuss why you were denied in which I don’t understand how or why. I personally feel like they just took our money without explanation on why we were denied.NEVER AGAIN!!!!! I wouldn’t rent from them even if I received the first month rent free. A waste of time and money.
I read a lot of the reviews here and am not sure what company you all are talking about. RPM managed my property for over 16 years, and I have no complaints on their performance, or handling of my property. There was never a delay in occupancy, nor did I ever hear of any tenant complaints. I know whenever they called me with a problem, they were thorough and informative as what was needed, what was done, and they always answered any and all questions I had. I put myself in the position of my tenant and knew if I was renting, I would want my problems fixed as fast as possible. I allowed RPM to fix the problems my tenant was having, usually before I was even informed. That was the trust I had in them. I would say a lot of problems management companies have are mostly owner/landlord driven, they can only do what the owner will allow them to do. If I wasn't selling my property, they would still be my management company.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY My husband and I just moved into one of their properties and we have been finding maintenance issues non stop. When we moved in we had no AC or hot water. About a week in we started having plumbing issues and could not flush our toilet. Currently 2 weeks in to living here and we have a leak coming from our attic that began almost 5 days ago. We have gotten little response from both maintainance and the property managers. Seriously save yourself the stress and rent from someone else.
Currently renting with my husband and our roommate both active duty military. With our experience of rental agencies and renting in general this is the worst. Numerous issues that have taken days to resolve or haven't been addressed at all, awful paint job inside and outside of the house, all the doors stick, broken windows that were addressed on move in months ago, etc. The portal is a joke, any conversation or service request isn't responded to until you call the office yourself. When you finally get ahold of them you talk to a different person every time and nobody knows what's going on. I wish we would've read the reviews before signing the lease but as a military family we have to take what we can get. For almost $2,000 a month you'd think we'd get a little bit better service.
Terrible experience. Communication from them was poor and whenever we got on the phone all they did was talk and make excuses never allowing us to talk. It is obvious that their priorities are themselves first, then the vendors they hire, then the renters, then the property owners last. I won’t put specifics on here in case there is something in our contract against it but save yourself time, money, and anxiety don’t do business with this company ever.
Scammers !!! How is the property I applied too still available when I was told someone else was picked. When I try to apply for a different property with the my application fee they are unavailable but listed as available on the website! Zero stars !!
