I improved a lot as a mixer and felt a lot more confident in pro studio environments when my name was called upon to help out in any way i could. Recording Connections is a great opportunity to further your career as well as collaborate with other artist/engineers/producers. Very informative and you could always call the headcounters for help. I received great help along the way from Lucas Abend.

I have now reached the middle of the course, and things are running like a well-oiled machine. I understand how a studio earns its own identity, how to troubleshoot in a variety of environments, and how to interact with professional clients and colleagues. The whole Recording Connection experience has been awe-inspiring.

While attending RC, I’ve worked with Mike Gonsolin (worked previously with Snoop Dogg) on producing a few tracks, as well as Jeff Blue (founder of Korn, Linkin Park, and Macy Gray).

After graduating from the Recording Connection I went old school, went knocking on doors and handing out my resume and that landed a job at one of Dallas’ finest recording school.
