Red Robin Mmmmmmm, that’s what this location had going on. We were at the one on Shelbyville Road, after driving all the way to the location, it’s carry out only on Mondays and Tuesdays. Literally not the same experience as dinning in. When you purchase a burger for 12.00, you want to be able to get the bottomless fries etc. Other people were in the parking lot feeling the same way. What happened next. We drove all the way over to the Clarksville location and they did not disappoint. Our waitress was Outstanding, her name is Kayla. She made sure we had the best experience and took very good care of us. Never let our glass go empty and made sure we had enough fresh food. I was so grateful for her and this location being open. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and it just got better and better. As we were leaving a few workers said “Have a great evening and thanks for coming in”. I’m a hour in a half away and will take that drive to go to this location again. Thanks Kayla and The workers who greeted us walking in and said something on the way out. You guys have it going on and should be recognized!!! Way to show up to your customers.
Oh my, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! They are so short-staffed, they should close. The server was great, but my Black and Bleu burger was literally BLACK as you can see in the photo, and I think there were only about 5 small bleu cheese crumbles on the bun. I had to remove the "salad" they put on my burger to try to cover up the burnt hamburger patty. In fairness to the MOD that night, he didn't charge us for my meal, but also didn't come out to apologize. This was the first time I've ever had a problem with Red Robin. I sincerely hope that corporate sees this review because it will help them figure out why this location is not as profitable as it should be. We waited 30+ minutes for our meal. Our poor dog was all excited to have almost an entire burger all to herself I only took 2 bites but even she had a difficult time chewing it.
Not a good experience at this place. Super dirty, we had to get up and ask for napkins and straws. Waited for 30 minutes and they had only 10 tables with 3 servers. I almost forgot that the bill before tip was $60 one drink and 4 burgers that were over cooked. The fries and sweet tea were decent.
Ordered a Simply Grilled Chicken evidently it’s not simple. Chicken was burnt and the garlic fries was not cooked all the way through NO ONE made the order right or even asked what we can do to make it better. BETTER SERVICE. Make my food Correctly
Nice server. Didn't mind bringing extra fries. Food was tasty and hot. Good portions. Way to pay at your seat. Dessert was a lil skimpy for the $6-8 price range but that's not the fault of the employees.
Horrible service! I had to flag down the waitress any time I needed anything. It took 20mins to get burgers and fries. Their bottom less fries only came with 10 fries! And by the time you got service and got them delivered you were already finished with your meal and didn't want them. I've posted picture of my untouched serving of fries. Update: 7/23/22 After 4 years we decided to give them another chance. The service is still just as bad! The restaurant is also very dirty. They sat us at table where the floor in front of it was so loaded with spilled soda that my flip flop stuck and came off my foot. The waitress told us it had been that way for awhile and there was nothing they could do about it. We were the 3rd seating so the restaurant had plenty of seating. Why would you put customers in your dingiest spot? We waited over 40mins for 2 burgers and 2 kids meals. They were taking so long that the waitress ended up bringing us the kids food first and then 10mins later they brought ours. Finally got my food anf fries are wrong. Sent back and then burger was wrong. The fix and bring it back then I notice my burger is wrong too! I ordered a special menu burger and they sent a plain cheeseburger with bacon. Gave up after that and just asked to have my meal removed from the bill. After that fiasco the server didn't want to come back to our table so we had to ask another server to bring us our bill. Since the server was avoiding us we couldn't get refills on drinks or the "bottomless" fries and children's sides. We couldn't even enjoy the perk which the company prides themselves on. Save yourself a headache and just avoid this place. We should have known better when at noon on a Saturday there was only 4 cars in the parking lot.
We was seated right away but after that was a joke. It took them 15 minutes to even get our drink order so we just ordered food at the same time. The waitress took our order on a napkin. Then we waited 45 minutes before we decided we waited long enough. There was only 5 tables there!Food: 1/5
Burger wasn't cooked all the way through and some of the steak fries were soggy and room temperature at best. Was not impressed with the cheeseburger patties, they seamed bland and resemble the ones you get in high-school. Lettuce was crisp and tomatoe was cut to an appropriate thickness, however the burger wasn't even warm enough to melt the cheese slice. Pretzel Bites were great. Being my 1st time going to Red Robin I was very unimpressed. I even told the waitress this was my 1st time @ Red Robin. I was seated @ a table in the bar and I was the only one in there, they had the bartender waiting tables elsewhere in the restaurant. Overall the restaurant was clean, seat was comfortable. Bathroom was adequately clean but very dimly lit. Really on the fence if I will go back or not.
Ask for a sweet tea. Tea was not sweet. Waitress said she would sweeten it. Took drink too the back poured a sugar packet over the tea and brought it back out. Sugar literally poured over the ice. Food took over 45 minutes. One other table in the entire restuarant. Burger wasn't cooked the way I asked, came out wrong, with the wrong toppings and burnt. It was inedible. Manager said she would cover my "meal" which I never ate. Still charged me for my soda. No apologies, didn't bother to make amends. Would she have called the cops if I left without getting any food? Worst experience I've had in years. No way they will ever get my business back in the future. On a positive note. My LC Hot-N-Ready was cooked perfectly and was delicious.
I have taken my cross country team to the Red Robin in Clarksville, Indiana for 3 of the past 4 years after our meet in Louisville. It would have been 4 of the last 4 years if Covid had not happened. I bring anywhere from 25-30 people and they have always been accommodating and they rock it out. They have great customer service, we are in and out of there in about as fast as you can feed 25 people as possible. We will continue to stop here every year. The general manager, and I am sorry I forgot her name but she is from California, and her staff was amazing!
