Red Rocket Tattoo

I visited Red Rocket a week ago and I'm happy to say that my new tattoo is healing nicely, and I love it more and more each time I look at it! The artist, Andres Flu, was a pleasure to work with - he made me super comfortable throughout the entire process of coming up with my design and getting inked. I felt like I was in good hands all the way through. My session took about five hours so I did have plenty of time to observe the comings and goings of the shop! It's a clean shop, and the staff/artists were all friendly and treated their clients with respect. It also seems like the artists offer a diverse scope of specialties so depending on what you're looking to get inked, someone here is likely going to be a good fit for you. Great studio, friendly staff, good choices of music. Helpful and patient throughout the whole process. I got seen within minutes, after arriving at 12pm for their walk-in slots. Very positive experience for my first NYC tattoo

Had the best first tattoo experience I could have asked for. From the moment I walked in the entire crew was extremely friendly and welcoming. They paid attention to what I wanted and walked me through the entire process. The tattoo itself looks amazing and is better than I had imagined it. I don’t live in nyc but I am definitely coming back if I ever want to get another one. You can tell they’re experienced and care about their customers. Fun and laid back atmosphere. We visited 3 tattoo shops in NYC and this place is amazing! They greet you with enthusiasm and excitement, very positive vibes and inviting! Andre was awesome and respectful, and Shannon drew up an incredible piece for my husband and did a wonderful job. Every tattoo, even did two in one day, has been awesome. I worked with Shannon last, though every artist I’ve worked with at Red Rocket Tattoo, including receptionists has been nothing short of caring, professional, creative and just overall awesome! Best shop in NYC!

The entire staff are extremely friendly and greet you the moment you set food. I come here for Chris and she is great! If you need an artist, she comes highly recommended.

Nice, cozy and comfy tattoo studio located at 78 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10018. The staff is very friendly, kind and pleasant in an all-over casual atmosphere. Walk-ins are very welcome, as many tattoo artists are performing there! I got my tattoo from Myra, a young, beautiful and amiable woman who was originally born and grown-up in Germany. I really like and appreciated her tattoo art. During tattooing we carried on an awesome and great conversation/chat. Merchandising articles like T-Shirts, tank tops or hoodies are also available on site.
