Red Wok Buffet

You’ll find Red Wok on Thomas Rd to be one of the best buffets in that area. Depending on the time of day, the food is consistent and fresh. The options are simple, there’s no flash or pizazz here but what they do have is good quality food being brought out consistently. I hate going to a buffet and having to wait for a new batch of whatever it is that I’m trying to eat. They have soups, desserts, what I would call California rolls sushi, and a basic Mongolian BBQ grill with beef, chicken, and some other protein I just can’t recall at the moment. The staff was attentive and bought me out drinks quickly and I didn’t even have to ask. The place was clean and spacious. They even had a back room that sat I’d say another 20-30 people that wasn’t even being used! The place is huge and for a place that big and so full of people I’d say it was pretty clean which counts a lot with me. Even the restrooms were decent which goes a long way with me too. Plenty of room for parking and the area isn’t that bad considering central Phoenix. If you find yourself heading east on Thomas past the 51 and want to have something good to eat try out Red Wok.

Save the drive to Vegas, this buffet will sufficiently allow you to stuff yourself with your favorite Chinese dishes, and then some. As with any buffet restaurant, it's best to visit during peak dining hours for the best experience. We dropped in at dinner time on a Saturday. They have all the most popular Americanized dishes that were all pretty good - like Panda Express good. They had some American dishes as well and the prerequisite area for salad. The unexpected treat here is their generous supply of seafood dishes. There were mounds literally of shrimp, large prawns, and crab that were either fried, steamed, or sautéed. They did have some Sushi offerings mostly rolls and some sashimi, but it was clearly not their specialty. Hard pass. There were a lot of families dining there; the price is right. The staff was friendly and very busy filling drinks and keeping the food fresh and well stocked. It was fun and the place is clean. Worth a visit. Take the kids and let them loose!

I was impressed by Red Wok. There was no wait when we arrived around 7:40 pm on a Saturday. It was very clean around the food areas and floors. Food was hot and well stocked! Stocked close to closing time?? I know, shocker. This place has raised the bar for Chinese Buffets for us Food: 5/5

Cheap chinese buffet around scottsdale area. : Different options available for just 14 usd during weekends and 11 usd for weekdays. Service is good too! You often see them clean the buffet set up. Pay first before getting a sit.

Hello Arizona!!! Heads up on this one please. Went here for lunch and I told the front cashier that one of the hot sauces they had was spoiled/rotten. She went and told the kitchen staff. They walked towards the sauce. Talked about it and shrugged it off!!! Careful as it can ruin your meal or worse! Make you sick! That's a big NO from me. Definitely will not be returning to this place.

The food was the great, it's hard to find a good buffet. The teriyaki chicken was very good and the ribs were amazing, sorry I didn't get a picture cause we ate them so quickly.

Nice and clean. Good options for the buffet. Seating options are nice. Kids 2yrs and younger eat free. Nice staff that roam and refill at a consistent pace. A bit slow on drink refills, which are free.

The food was great, even though all the labels were wrong. Service, well, when you could get service was descent. Gave 1 start for the service since it was completely lacking. They played some pretty good music though. Gave it 4 stars because the tables are very close together. Its pretty far for us but if we're in the area, we'd give it another try for sure.

Clean and plenty of selection is important. For me, it was the bokchoy that hit the spot. Sushi, shrimp and white fish were wonderful. Great service by the staff keeps the great feeling of an awesome dinner going with you all day or night. Kudos to the line cooks and line people, the spread was awesome! Vegetarian options: Vegetables like green beans and bokchoy were the best, but so many more.

This is now my go to place for Asian cuisine since moving to Phoenix. They have amazing rice and orange chicken. Absolutely delicious and always fresh, contrary to what some commenters here state. Their veggie rolls are fresh, tender, oily, but at the same time they have a little crisp - just the way I like them. My only concern is organizational: I do like sauces; however the containers for them located at the front counter/sea food department. So you have to do some walking. This place does get really busy.
