I started seeing Josh only a few weeks ago for both 1:1 training and semi personal training classes. I am 24 weeks pregnant and needed a little boost / guidance with my fitness and training to be as healthy as I can during this pregnancy. Josh is very knowledgeable and personable and is able to tailor my workouts to my needs. He also gives great advice on nutrition. Josh is just wonderful to work with and I am so glad I started working with him!

I first found Josh in June of 2016 when looking for a small group class or a personal trainer. From the first class I knew that this was the type of class I was looking for. Josh explained each exercise before we started the class and made sure we were doing them properly each time. He also checked in periodically through out the week to see if I had any questions and was drinking enough water and taking in enough protein, all essential when working out! I continued with classes 2-3 times a week and have noticed a huge difference not only in the way my clothes fit but how I feel. My blood pressure went from being on the verge of having to take medication to being virtually perfect. I have noticed that I sleep much better and have more energy when I'm on a regular workout schedule. I have also lost close to 20lbs since I stated coming to class. I would recommend Josh to anyone who wants to not only get in shape and lose weight, but feel better on a daily basis!

Josh is great. I started with him via his online personal training app, but ultimately started going to his gym for small group sessions because I don't live far, and I personally stay more motivated to go by participating in group training. He works tirelessly to make sure he has time for every client, and he keeps prices very reasonable. It's clear that Josh knows his stuff when it comes to fitness and nutrition, unlike many of the trainers you might come across in big box gyms (though you can occasionally find a diamond in the rough there too). I have recommended him to several friends and feel very lucky to have found him!

I have been going to Reed's for group training for about a year now. I found out about Reed's through my older sister. I went for the first time with her and loved it! Now my older sister, my mom, and I all train here. Josh provides a really welcoming and comfortable environment, encouraging you to be and do your best with your personal health and fitness both in and outside the studio. He is very flexible with scheduling, and even sends you workouts that you can do on your own if you can't make it into the studio. Josh is such a great trainer because you can tell that he truely cares about the success of each of his clients, and will do anything he can to help you along your fitness journey! I would recommend training at Reed's to anyone!

I've been to many personal trainers in effort to battle my constant struggle with weight. My initial visit with Josh was refreshing. He kept it simple and straightforward.
From my time with different trainers, I've realized that anyone can give you a list of exercises and make sure you do all the reps. What sets Josh apart is the genuine care for your progress and overall health. He provides personal attention, makes an effort to check in and understands that each person will have different barriers to overcome. He got to know me outside of the gym. He caters his program to each person and doesn't make you give up your guilty pleasures (read: bourbon).
Since my 6 months with Josh, I've lost approximately 35 lbs while being the strongest I've ever been. My first session, my legs trembled when doing 100 Lb deadlifts. Now, I'm up to 295 lbs.
If you want a cookie cutter program then Josh isn't for you. If you want a personal working relationship with someone that genuinely wants to see you succeed, you cannot find someone better.
