I have been a loyal customer of Reference for many years. I have bought TV's, home theater equipment, outdoor speakers, a security system and smart home technology from Reference throughout the years. The staff at Reference is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The techs that perform the work are courteous, punctual and do excellent work.

Reference Audio can do a great job but if you have a problem that occurred with installation you WON'T hear from them. They seemed so reliable when we hired them while building our house but we paid our hefty bill before we realized we had a problem. They DON'T back up their work. On the other hand we had misplaced a bill that was almost 30 days overdue for $107.00 and we heard from them 3 times...go figure!!!

QUALITY and 2ND to NONE!! These are the words I choose to represent this company. I was referred to the company by the owner's daughter and I thought I would give them a try. I ended up spending quite a bit of money and it's well worth it. I could have easily gone to Best Buy or some of the other big companies, but this team truly represents customer service.
I bought a couple TV's about a year ago and they were very detailed on what their intentions were. In fact, they didn't want to discuss much over the phone. Instead, they thought it would be in my best interests to come out and take a look at what my vision and goals were. We (Cody from the Des Moines Store) sat down and drew everything out from the pricing, the setup and installation and further customer service after the sale. I'm in sales myself, and know how key communication is after the sale.
This year I had a couple issues and found Cody's number and called him. He still had my number and information in his phone. The conversation felt like we were friends and was nice to know that he remembered me. I scheduled a time for him to come out and he fixed the issue within 15-20 minutes and left. I'm sure it was annoying for him to make the trip after finding out it was a simple issue at hand, but he was totally cool with it.
Moral of the story, check this team out. You could easily be spending more money, BUT as I know, you get what you pay for in this world. Spending that extra dollar or two will go a long ways. And this team will have my business again when the time presents itself.
