A very welcoming & friendly bunch of ushers & ticket-takers. As well, the auditorium remained clean and uncrowded. The digital screen made for a vivid and lively time.
Top Gun II and Jurassic World: Dominion were two of the last movies showing. This theater was conveniently located at The Ameristar Property and a great option for entertainment while on property. This theater permanently closed and I am hoping for a replacement of another theater option in the future. I will check periodically for updates on the replacement. Thank you for the years of service.
The trashiest experience I've had at a theater and I loved every second of it. I saw the Grinch and out theater was empty. Now, that's probably to be expected on a Wednesday evening 20 days after the movies release. But tickets were $10 and I'd pay a few times that to experience an empty theater. On the downside our movie shut off about 15 minutes in and I had to ask them to turn it back on. Onto quality sound was a pinch below average and so was projection. I know the movie wouldn't be all that bass heavy but any scenes that had bass were lacking in that movie theater experience. The projection was acceptable yet slightly muted color wise. The seats were alright, fairly cushy. Finding the theater was another problem. Relative to the Ameristar property it's in the very back and to the very right. It's pretty challenging to find unless you follow the signs clearly pointing you toward the cinemas. The theater is a ghost town inside of a mini city and it gave me the opportunity to see behind a projection screen for the first time.i enjoyed it and disliked it at the same time. 3/5
No sound during previews except static. When movie starts you can still hear static crackling. Seats are old. For as old, worn, and plain this theater is the tickets should be cheaper.
The theatre smells of mildew. The seats are old and uncomfortable and are very close together. Not a lot of leg room. It's like being on a airplane. No one else in theatre so that was a plus. Seats are not sectioned off for social distancing.
The seats are very tight. I went to sit down and knocked over my drink that was in the cup holder because my hips were a bit wider than the seat. It was very hilarious at the moment, but while sitting there the armrests don't go up, and there isn't much legroom, so it was a bit uncomfortable. The movie was good and fun to watch and was on time. Just hard to sit there and watch when I knew I could have stayed home to watch it on Disney plus for the same price in my comfortable living room.
Great place! Clean, classic movie experience, easy access, right by the arcade!! I'm a little bias though.
My husband, granddaughter and I have been here many times and have never had a bad experience. The theater is always clean and the staff if super friendly and helpful. We have the Regal unlimited plan so we watch 2 or 3 movies at a time. I wish that the had the reclining seats but even without them the seats are comfortable. Always and great experience in the theater and casino.
One of the cheaper theaters, yet the most fun to go to. It is HUGE, they have tons of rooms. Tons of movies playing at once. Great atmosphere, good service, the only thing is the seats are a little snug claustrophobic tall person talking here and the arm rests don't raise so sometimes that's frustrating but other than that we come here constantly!
Place was clean and fresh smelling. The seats in some theaters are not reclining seats but are comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and fresh. Sound system is good. People friendly and helpful. They even brought our hotdogs to us because they weren't done yet so we wouldn't have to miss the show. They posted posters on a table in lobby for people to take of some movies. Kids loved that. A plus is that it is inside Ameristar Casino and Hotel so lots to do afterwards. Restaurants, arcade, shops, fast-food, casino. Something for everyone. Go try it!
