Regal Cinemas Louisiana Boardwalk 14 & IMAX

When you walk into this entire movie theater, it smells of the worst portapotty I have ever smelt. That lead into the same disgusting smell onto the theater we were watching the movie at. I was thankful of the man wearing way too much cologne because it did mask that a bit. The theater was super stuffy and hot. It was very hard to enjoy snacks that all we could smell was garbage. Yuck.

Theatre was clean and well kept so why only 3 stars well first the employee in the box office rang us up for the wrong movie as we sat and began the movie it just stopped so I went out to find someone to inform them it had stopped (not knowing it was a manager I talked to) he told me there where no tickets sold for that show so they turn it off. That I can under stand but we missed about 10 to 15 minutes of the movie and the lights never went off so the whole experience was ruined. after the movie me and my wife asked for a manager and shared our displeasure about what happened. He offered us free passes to a movie but we don't live here and don't have any theatre's close to us plus we where not looking for free stuff just want to be heard on our displeasure about what happened. And that the employees ringing us up should listen to the patron's request. After we said we didn't want the free passes, I felt as the manager didn't want to hear me out what happened not really happy with the whole out come and will do my business elsewhere if this is how this company responds to a compliant.

Got to see Infinity Wars on the IMAX. The theater is laid out so most people exit through the lobby so don't eavesdrop if you want to avoid spoilers. Minor issue during the previews - the system seemed to freeze up midway through one so they had to show all the previews again. We were pretty nervous it was going to prevent us from watching our movie but thankfully the second time was the charm.

Decent place to watch a Movie. Nothing spectacular, No personal love seats that recline drops it down 1 star and it's also a bit pricey for what you get IMO. Although the boardwalk gives nice scenery & things to do before or after your film. Please Like this review if it helped you out in any way. Thanks

Great safe theater. Use the atom app and regal club card to gain quicker access. Always easier by phone or at the kiosk there.
