I just finished my rehab on my left shoulder. Dr. Sawardecker of Essentia did a total shoulder replacement November 1st 2021. My surgery went well. When I started rehab at Essentia Physical Health, they would only give me 30 minute sessions. When I went on vacation in Mesa, Spooner Rehab scheduled me for 1 hour 3 times a week. My progress was very good. When I returned home, I went back to Essentia where again they would only schedule 30 minutes. Also their equipment was very sparse. I decided to search out a clinic that would give 1 hour session. I worked with a PT for 3 weeks when he had me work with Amber Richards no relation. When she started me on a different routine the first time I worked with her, my progress moved forward tremendously. At times, when progress would stall, Amber would research different methods. Amber would ask what areas of the shoulder muscles which were bothering me the most, so she could concentrate a routine to address it. I finished my rehab with great success. My pain level is nil, my range of motion is 95 to 98% of my non surgery shoulder. I recommend Amber for rehab to anyone. In addition, Amber is extremely pleasant to work with . I totally enjoyed my experience with Amber and Rehab4Life.
Rehab4Life has been excellent in helping me overcome migraines and chronic neck and back issues.. later diagnosed as fibromyalgia. I can't thank Stacey and Heather enough for helping me navigate and survive the trenches of fibromyalgia and come out the other side as a fully functioning human being. Their compassion and top-notch expertise kept me going and allowed me to be able to put full faith in them. I wanted to be sure to include the compassion part - if somebody is reading this chances are you're in pain/chronic pain and if you're like me, it's important to find a healthcare professional that will connect with you and actually listen. These guys are great at that. Even though dry-needling just wasn't my thing and I didn't try it more than once, Heather is really knowledgeable about it and I would recommend her if somebody wants to give it a try for the first time. They were with me every step of my journey - giving me an at-home exercise plan and tending to whatever was ailing me on a given day usually with stretches and deep tissue-like massages. If it weren't for Stacey's keen eye, I may not even have been diagnosed with the fibro yet. She was really determined to help me improve and provided helpful chronic pain management techniques and education to keep me moving in the right direction. Roger stepped in when there was a last minute cancellation and was fantastic at listening to my specific concerns and needs on that given day. And the front desk gal Selena is just a ray of sunshine every day with her warm greetings. After being fairly certain I would probably have a lot of pain and flare-up issues on my wedding day in a month, thanks to you all, I'm now confident I'll actually be able to enjoy the entire day pain-free! I can't thank you all enough!!
Thanks to the team at Rehab4Life, my son has made great strides toward independence. He has CP, and we had been told elsewhere to limit our expectations. Thankfully, they see things differently here and have already encouraged him to set higher goals and work toward them.
The people are just wonderful helpful and so caring I would recommend this to anybody who had to go through rehab!!!
I love going to Rehab4Life.
They do great things
