I went to vital records for a copy of my birth certificate. Other than the security guard, who didn't look up to see who was walking in, or didn't clearly give directions it was an easy , super fast and successful 15 minutes tops. The actual workers were helpful and pleasant! I was pleasantly surprised since I haven't had to do that in so many years.

My sister and I had to go to Vital Records on Reisterstown Road this morning and get a copy of my twin nieces original birth certificates.
We planned ahead attempting to arrive at the Vital Records office 15 minutes or so before opening (8am) so that we would be towards the front of the line and not have to spend hours trying to get the birth certificates. Due to traffic, we didn't end up arriving at the office until about 8:20am.
Surprisingly, the office was not packed at all and we were able to fill out the forms in the front vestibule, be directed to a window to turn the forms in and pay for the birth certificates and we were given a number to wait for the completed certificates.
A mere 7 to 8 minutes later, we were called back up to the window where we were presented with the completed original birth certificates. Total time spent in the office could not have exceeded 20 to 25 minutes at most.
Every staff member was super friendly and very helpful. We had much more a pleasant experience than either of us had anticipated and I wanted to write this review because I am grateful for the nice experience we had and so that the staff will know that their friendliness and helpfulness did not go unnoticed.
Thank you again.

They are trying to rebuild this loction. But its not much there as of yet. Food places are kind of slow and the plaza is mostly shut down for repairs and rebuild. They just got a five below in the area as well so that brings in customers as well. The department of vital records is moved now to the outside in the rear by home depot. Its small and cramped but they can be fast. Not usually crowded either. A couple good places still exist. Not many in the area. Crime is still a little high. But that's everywhere lately.

Stopped in that new 5 below. The plaza is trying to step up, however, going up in there with congestion is the pits! There has to be a better layout for driving through there! It's so narrow! Cars double park and make it harder to navigate through, and then the weirdest little dead end parking row that you get stuck in and if there are no spots, good luck backing out into the chaos.

I feel like they are doing what they can to bring back traffic to the plaza but they are lacking in what people really want when they shop. Dont get me wrong i love what they are doing to bring some fresh stores, but i think they should def put a movie theater back at the plaza so everyone wont have to go all the way to Owings Mills or Security. maybe add some colorful flowers and trees for landscaping. Get rid of Applebees and make it a Friday's, maybe even a vegan spot could be good to bring the new generation in more. Its all about appeal and I think with a little work, better stores, and a movie theater it would be cool
