Relax the Back

I can't say enough good things about this place. The products themselves are excellent; we bought a chair from here over 16 years ago and it is still in near-perfect condition and incredibly comfortable. It had a minor malfunction a few weeks ago, we called the store, they came out and fixed it within 10 mins, no issues since. We decided to purchase a second chair from here last week, and had an exceptional customer service experience. Eric was extraordinarily kind and patient with my elderly, disabled father and went above and beyond to make him feel at ease and compassionately find a chair that suited his specific needs. Due to the nature of my father's condition, he is even letting us keep the floor model to use for now until the chair we ordered arrives in stock. Would recommend 1,000%. And Eric, if you see this, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We needed to acquire an assist chair on very short notice and were encouraged to come to the Concord Pike store rather than buy outright.. When we promptly showed up, we were offered hospitality and excellent service from Tom, the store manager. He provided the needed information; let us take the time we needed to choose the right chair, and delivered the chair we needed on the same day. He and Eric, his assistant, came after store hours to get the chair set up. They were very careful with tight corners, an old dog, and COVID protections. Professional and friendly. Great teamwork.

We've bought 3 chairs and 1 bed from Relax the Back in the past years. We've been very happy with their products and service. Eric has been especially great with service. Two thumbs enthusiastically way up for this business!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! When Covid19 reached our area, I was in need of a high quality office chair due to serious back issues. I made an appointment and went into the store. The Service I received was Superior with respect to the sales person's knowledge, ability to listen and the ability to find the perfect chair. They did not have the chair I wanted in stock, but they went ABOVE AND BEYOND by letting me take the display chair until my chair arrived. I CANNOT say enough about the Excellent customer service and quality products! We even returned to buy another chair for my husband.

Really nice people and many, many useful products which they happily let you try out. If you have the funds you can find it here. I just went for a wedge pillow system and they have a bunch of those to choose from as well. I spent a lot for the pillows that I travelled 50 miles especially there for but the man was nice enough to let me know of other pillows and wedges they had even though I wasn't there for a high priced item. Worth the trip.

Everyone was very professional. I really love my chair and it has helped my back more than anything I have tried. This is my second zero gravity chair but this one has heat and massage which makes a world of difference. A golf friend heard me talking about my new chair and is going to stop by to try it. I feel pretty sure once he tries it he will be very interested in getting one for himself .

This is my second purchase at this store. I have poor posture so I like to use a back support to keep my posture erect. I keep my back support in my car seat. So, I am using this 365 days a year. I really like my purchase.

Sells reclining chairs like Lazy Boy and other arthritic brands. Located in small parking lot. Be careful coming in and out as it's four lanes right there. Across the street from Taco Bell.

I had a very bad experience. I found the owner to be disrespectful and would not support her guarentee. When I protested, she threatended to call the police. It was an unfortunate experience. I would not purchase anything from the wilmington store--large or small.

Incredible selection of highly ergonomic furniture and very knowledgeable staff. A unique store, that is worth a long trip.
