Directions and Parking Instructions:
Our office is located on the 2nd floor of Sports Club/LA – DC. Underground parking is available beneath the building and validated for Release Physical Therapy patients. If you have trouble finding us please call our office, (202) 974-6621.
To access parking:
Pull into the Ritz Carlton on 22nd street (Sports Club/LA – DC will be to your right). Release Physical Therapy patients are permitted to park only in spots marked for Sports Club/LA.
Parking passes are $4.00 for 3 hours. To validate, your pass must be stamped at Sports Club/LA reception.
To find our office:
From the parking garage, take the elevator; press L for lobby. You will arrive in the lobby of the Ritz Carlton. To enter Sports Club/LA, walk out of the lobby and the club will be to your left. Check in at the reception area and you will be directed to our office, located on the second floor.
Accessibility:
If you are unable to walk from the parking garage to the building, valet parking is available at the Ritz Carlton on 22nd Street for 3 hours at $8.00. To validate, your pass must be stamped at Sports Club/LA reception. Elevators are available on all floors of the club.
About Dr. Cari Simon, DPT:
Owner of Release Physical Therapy, Dr. Simon received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from University of Hartford after graduating from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science & Physiology/Pre-physical Therapy. A former All New England and All State soccer player, Dr. Simon was part of the U.S. Women’s Soccer National Team pool, but ultimately decided to redirect her career in pursuit of her true passion: care.
Dr. Simon has treated a multitude of patients and their problems including pediatrics, geriatrics, bariatrics, post-op, chronic pain patients, repetitive stress injury, and elite athletes. Driven by her desire to help patients meet their physical goals and gain or regain functional capacity, Dr. Simon’s treatment approach combines manual mobilization and manipulation techniques with individualized therapeutic exercise. She is a full body Active Release Techniques® (ART) provider. Additionally, Dr. Simon utilizes McConnell, athletic, and Kinesio® taping methods. When she is not helping her patients meet their physical goals, Dr. Simon enjoys skiing, playing tennis, playing soccer, running, hiking, and spending time with her family.
