Renaissance Parking

We have been using this parking for more than a year. The daytime guys are absolutely great. Efficient, kind, hardworking, funny. We always feel welcome and know our car is in good hands. This is a great place to park 24/7 in Downtown Newark.

I had to park in this lot all weekend and the team that worked there was so great! They were kind, patient, and cheerful. They were also very fast. I was tired from giving presentations and they could tell, and offered to take some of my bags and helped me carry them to my car. I will always park here as long as this team is there!

I used to monthly park here when I lived nearby because there really aren't better options in the area. However, I really don't like how they treated my old car. I drive an 02 with 200,000+ miles and they really beat her up. I had to have the transmission replaced and other parts and I'm afraid when they were flooring the car out of the parking garage and would shift into park before the car came to a stop it was really damaging my car. I always come to a full stop, pull the parking break, and then shift into park so you don't hear a loud thunk. I really think they should be more gentle with peoples cars. My car also doesn't have any automatic locking features, and I don't like that they didn't lock it with the key. Its really little things they could have done to take care of my car, I know shes not fancy or anything but shes still the most expensive thing I own and I need her to get to work and school every day.

Unfortunately parked here. Money went missing from one of my dash compartments. Avoid them like the plague

It’s $50 to park for the night which I have no problem with everything seemed fine until I got back in the morning and gave my ticket in and they did NOT have my keys. Well I did not have them either and the doors were unlocked ALL NIGHT. Then as I’m calling my dad because I’m getting no help from them and I come to find my keys are soaking wet because of the rain the night before on the ground next to my tire. Fingers crossed the key chip will not fry from water damage. Completely unprofessional and they should not charge astronomical prices for horrible service. Don’t park your car here if you do not want it so conveniently stolen or have stuff stolen from it. Never again.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. I got this pass through Park Whiz app. Booked it because it was indoor parking. I paid $47 to park indoor and $10 for oversized car fee for total of $57. Outdoor parking was cheaper. Got there and I kept asking when they were pulling it indoors bc that’s what I paid for Totally ignored. Pointed out that’s what I paid for and completely ignored. They were very rude. Came out of event to find their way of storing keys was to sit them in my tire where they were very visible to anyone walking into lot. I have pictures of Jeep parked out doors where we had left it. I told them I wanted to be reimbursed the indoor parking fee and the oversized indoor parking fee and his only answer was no Called Park Whiz explained what’s happened. Park Whiz refunded all of my fee and issued credit towards future parking pass. Park whiz gets a huge thumbs up as for Icon parking or aka renaissance parking at 111 Market Street Newark NJ I wouldn’t park and 30 year old bike with them. My fault I should have read all the bad reviews. I do not recommend

Worker there yelled at me today because I didnt leave my keys in the car for him. The jackass was sitting on the keys. Super unprofessional and he's lucky I didnt report him. Park here at last resort and it's a wonder if you get your car in less than a half hour from when you arrive.

It is cheaper than nearby parking but don't bother trying to use the mobile coupon - they won't accept it even after the manager assures you that morning that you could use it that afternoon. I could tell they were busy but being cordial about it would've made me want to park there again despite not honoring their own coupon. I'll just spend the extra $2 down the street to hopefully not be barked at. Wishing u all of the best Icon.

They completely broke the roof rails of a brand new car and scratched the door near the keyhole of the driver side door. Leaving the place I heard a strange noise while driving, but couldn't locate it until the next day. When I called they laughed and told me to go F- off Save yourself and your car the trouble and go somewhere else

This place is terrible beyond terrible! Damage the cars parked there, use them for their own personal enjoyment. In this blizzard were doing donuts in the parking lot with other people's cars. That is so unprofessional and illegal, under bailment and is also intentionally destructive and reckless. Also extreme negligence in taking care of your car but often they go beyond this to the point of purposefully stealing and damaging your car.
