Rendon Inn

The Rendon Inn also includes The Hanger next door which is a live music and event venue. The Rendon Inn is a classic NOLA dive bar that is a bit nicer than many of the others. The location is unique without a lot of other stuff around it other than houses. The inside is mostly taken up by a huge bar and then they have a nice patio. This bar is owned by the same folks that own Shenanigans in Metairie and the food is very similar at the two spots. I've only been here many times for the great lunch specials, the steak night and just regular menu food. This bar looks like it has a great future ahead of it and they have been consistently busy during my visits. This is an area that doesn't have a lot of other venues so it should be interesting to see how it develops.

This is our go-to bar for Saints games. Food is great, good bloody Marys, extensive beer selection, and a porch in the back is nice too. We bring friends and family here and everyone loves it.Food: 5/5

I ordered from uber. I got the completely wrong food. I addressed this with uber and reordered. Several drivers kept shuffling my order, I had no idea what was happening. Then, one told me the restaurant told her the food was picked up, and they canceled it. I ordered a THIRD time, and asked my driver not to cancel. At this point, I called and spoke with Kelly, who refused to remake my food, stating it had been made and delivered. She did not listen to me tell her the order I received was wrong, she did not respond when I asked if she wanted to see the picture of the incorrect delivery, and she outright refused to make another order. She told me to deal with uber, but what was uber going to do? They already refunded me for the wrong order before I even ordered a second time. I've worked in restaurants for 20 years and never would I refuse to remake someone's food that wasn't delivered. What a power trip for Kelly, who claims she called and woke the manager because apparently there isn't one at the restaurant. Good luck making money when you refuse to make food. What an ableist and inefficient restaurant. Here you go, Kelly. This is what you delivered me. I ordered nachos.

Love this place food is always good . The bartender Sheena is my favorite. I work nights so I frequently stop in for food and an Abita root beer.

Nice neighborhood spot. Great food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Will undoubtedly return. No gumbo when we were there. It might be a Friday thing. If you're looking for gumbo, it's probably best to call ahead of time.Food: 5/5

Wow. What a treat on our way out of New Orleans! So glad that Little Dizzy's is serving up their southern cuisine there now. Sunday Brunch was good. Ask for the French toast from the omlet chef. Don't miss this place!
