I bought an N64 from here with a Mario 64 game, and I can't be more satisfied. The game system is in great condition, as is the game. They even gave me an original controller, all for a great price. I definitely recommend this retro game store.

Cool spot, very fair prices compared to a lot of other retro games stores I have been to. They have great deals on used peripherals, especially for newer systems. The cartridge-only N64 and GBA games are all within $10 of what you'd find online, some a little cheaper, some a little more expensive, which is much better than I've seen at other stores which price gouge anything remotely retro. They also have some rare stuff that is not cheap, but still in line with what you'd find on eBay, and definitely more trustworthy. I will definitely be going back, I know I'm not being ripped off and for the few things that end up being a little more expensive I'm happy to pay the few extra bucks because it'll even out with other purchases there and there's peace of mind in getting a 1 year warranty included on an old console and in knowing that what I'm buying is authentic.

Good selection and very fair prices -- for the handful of items I looked up, they sell items at prices right around what you'd expect to see them for online. Lots of games from a wide range of consoles, including cheap games you're just buying secondhand to play and also ones that are more collector's items. For trade-ins, I think they offered me around half of the online resale value -- again very fair, considering they have to do all of the work then on storing/listing the item before it's sold again. The trade-in process was quick and easy.

Outstanding! They have the best selection of new and rare video games at good prices. My nieces loved their Wii games, we bought a Nintendo 64, and I even found a replacement phone at a reasonable price. The PlayStation and Xbox selections are Top Tier. This place is the Gem of Allston, an absolute must see destination every time you visit Boston.

Went to get my little brothers phone fixed it was very close to closing time and they were still very friendly. I was with two others and the other coworker was still interested in helping my company look for items. They fixed the phone quickly and for a great place. I have to go back to check out the games when I get a chance! Thanks for the amazing customer service and great work on the phone!

Walked in recently to sell some games/Nintendo 3DS and got a good price for the items! Employees were incredibly friendly and helpful, not to mention the store looks incredibly clean! <3 I definitely plan on returning soon!

One of the best experiences getting something repaired. both people i interacted with were super nice one on the phone one in person. i was quoted a price over the phone around $40 less than the price dr google quoted. plus they said it would be ready in about 3 days. other places said 2 weeks. brought in the ps5 expecting to leave $160 poorer and empty handed. the guy i gave my ps5 to was able to clean the lens and hand it back to me right away. i will only be bringing my electronics there from now on. also if i want to buy a used game for any of my consoles thats where i’ll be going. go here!

Really love this storeeeeee recommend highly. I always go in for Nintendo stuff. Fair price, and if you go in often you end up finding different stuff most times.

This place rules, incredibly nice folks behind the counter and some of the fairest trade in offers for games I've ever experienced. I'm not in often, but every time I am they've got a treasure trove of new stuff to look through. If you miss being able to actually pick through games on shelves without being harassed to get GameStop pro rewards memberships this is definitely the place to check out.
