My stay at the Residence was in a suite. It was extremely delightful. Very spacious and everything was operational. It was clean and well kept. The curtains in the bedroom however only had a small shading panel woven in. If you like complete darkness this did not help. The front desk was very cheerful, well mannered and concerned for a good customer experience. Complaints - The breakfast provided was adequate and tasteful, however they started to clear things up 20 minutes to ten. This was annoying since things like hot sauce / ketchup were put away well before the end which was 10 am. I would have preferred also if breakfast on the Sunday went to 11. It was not a business hotel on weekends. Also just as an fyi, there are no guards or personnel in the underground parking. Many ignorant people taking up two spots, improperly parked etc so finding a place and parking required some skill. Overall, I would return to this hotel.

My wife went here with a spa package which the staff booked for the wrong day. They tried to put the blame for the error on her. Then charged the full rate for the room with not much of an apology, simply a we'll make it up to you when you come back. There is zero incentive to return.

The room felt more like an apartment than a hotel; I felt as though I could live in the room. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Generally a very pleasant stay while I was doing my radiation treatments at Victoria Hospital and they had a shuttle bus every half hour going to the hospital and a shuttle back to the hotel

This hotel has almost no parking. There are a few surface parking spots but they never free up. Underground parking is tiny, inadequate and difficult to navigate, and there were no spots anyway. The front desk said that we would be fine parking overnight at the high school but we woke up to a parking ticket! They refused to do anything for us. Given that the hotel charges for parking, this is completely unacceptable. There are several hotels within a few blocks radius that you can stay at instead that have their act together.
