Residence Inn by Marriott Providence Coventry

Had a room here for one night. The room was clean and the staff was courteous. I enjoyed the hotel lobby, it was comfortable and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay and would go back.

Drove all the way from Michigan to go to the Nordic Lodge and it was AMAZING. The whole experience was just awesome the staff was super accomidating, clean, and friendly. Gail gave nice stories and very informative breakfast was nice and delicious.

This is a very nice hotel that has been totally remodeled beautifully. The rooms are spacious and clean with so many places to store your stuff on those long stays. The staff are friendly. They offer complimentary beer, wine and snacks Monday-Wednesday (not as good as Homewood Suites but appreciated). There is a beautiful indoor pool, a very reasonable laundry room and two elevators so you never have to wait long. The hotel is directly off rt. 95 and is in walking distance to a Super Walmart. There are several restaurants nearby as well. The only negatives are that the walls seem a bit thin as you can hear every dog bark, and conversations in the hallway and nearby rooms. The big thing I would request to change would be the designated smoking area, which currently is the entrance to the hotel. It is disgusting to have to walk through clouds of smoke every time you come in and go out. It really takes away from what would be a nice entrance to a pretty lobby. PLEASE CONSIDER MOVING THE SMOKING AREA TO THE BACK OF THE HOTEL.

The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms are clean. We would definitely stay here again!!

I had to stay there for work. I even brought my dog with me. From the moment we walked in, the reception was so welcoming, my dog acted like he always lived there. They accommodated my needs and made sure it was to my satisfaction. Sadly I can only give it four stars because the shower had very slow drainage and it looked like they didn't really completely clean because I found a stale piece of sausage in a corner of the bedroom. However everything was fantastic and I will definitely stay there again. Thanks to Cindy at reception desk for making the stay feel like a home away from home.
