My only complaint is HOUSEKEEPING! This hotel need to revamp their housekeeping staff. I was there 2 weeks and never received the housekeeping I requested after 7 days. I even reported this about 3 times to the front desk and was reassured it would be cleaned. I left from 9am til almost 5pm because I have a small pet and wanted to be out the way and still no service at all. The front desk clerk Tommy tried his best and even gave me a bag of fresh linen and towels and wash cloths for the inconvenience so that I could at least change my linen and have fresh towels. I’m appreciative of him trying to correct the issue at least. Also with housekeeping, they were speaking of in house issues with guests. Guests should never know the in house issues with the staff such as checks being stolen amongst staff and that a housekeeper was caught stealing guests clothing. That’s very unprofessional. Location is great if having to book off post but need quick access to Fort Jackson. That’s what happened to me. So this location was a plus to have such accessibility. The rooms were also great to have the kitchenette in the event wanting to cook. This made the place feel like a small studio apartment. BREAKFAST was my favorite. Kudos to the kitchen staff as everyday food was fresh, there was variety, the staff in the kitchen was always friendly and helpful. They could give the housekeepers some customer service and hospitality training if you ask me to keep in line with the Marriott Brand. But what do I know I’m only a former Marriott employee myself.
I wasn’t here long enough to determine housekeeping quality but from every I saw it was amazing. This is a well kept facility with an amazing breakfast and outdoor area. It smells nice throughout the building and the rooms are very nice. Absolutely will be coming here any time I’m in the area.
Made a reservation to do military duty for the weekend and confirmed it and drove 3 hrs from Atlanta only to be told they would not honor the military rate unless I had military orders and wanted to charge me $249/night because of the masters. This should have been told to me upon making the reservation since I did it over the phone and spoke to the actual fromt.desk attendant; or at least when I confirmed it, as you do not receive military orders for weekend duty. It's sad this hotel does its service members like this. They should have honored their reservation since I confirmed it but they more concerned with making money from the masters. Now me my wife and daughters have nowhere to stay. I will never stay at this chain or any affiliated hotels again Noteworthy details: Unprofessional and no communication between employees if one makes the reservation but the other won't confirm it. At the expense of your guest
This place is awesome! Had to stay for 5 days/4 nights while having house repairs done. My insurance company booked for me but checking in was seamless! They keep fresh coffee brewed all day, the breakfast is great, the staff is super friendly and helpful and it’s pet friendly. The room was clean and the heat/ac worked well. There is a cute hearth to sit around in the evenings and chat with other guests. All around, couldn’t ask for a better experience while being displaced from home. Will definitely try to stay here again if needed.
What a "diamond in the rough". Great convenient location, hospitable and professional front desk staff, clean spacious modern rooms with a stove top, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot and toaster; helpful housekeeping staff and a tasty complimentary breakfast. I enjoy my stay every visit! Rooms: Extended stay floor plan with sleeping quarters in a separate area. The television is on a swivel to allow it to be viewed from all angles of the room. Nice workout facility.
What a fabulous spot! Very spacious studio with a king sized bed, sitting area, full kitchen! I will definitely tell my traveling friends about this hidden gem AND save it in my contacts for next time I come this way!Rooms: 5/5
Great location for the business trip my wife was on. Had power problems when we first checked in. Train tracks at rear of property. The train comes around 0650 every morning and sounds its horn for the grade crossing at Ramon Rd. That woke me up the first morning, moved rooms. Second morning was the 0540 fire alarm. Minor maintenance issues not fully rectified in the room during our stay. Staff was helpful and friendly for the most part. Breakfast was adequate. As we were walking out this morning after checkout the fire alarm went off again.
Great service. Room 313 was mostly clean, but the shower handle in the 2nd bathroom was broken so you could turn on the water, but you couldn't control the temperature. Breakfast has a nice variety of hot and cold. Check out my pictures to see the choices.Rooms: 4/5
The management and customer service is egregious. The manager, Rebecca Brooks, was the least helpful manager I've ever dealt with at a Marriott. If you ever have an issue, just chalk it up as a loss, regardless of what your justification is. Not only that, she refused to give me her boss' name. Never heard of a business who wouldn't give a customer their manager's name. Regardless, not only will I not stay there, I implore anyone to avoid this location.
