Restaurant Laura

We've been twice in the past two years - its a friendly, cozy place - sometimes with music. Nice wine and wonderful and affordable food - I don't remember what we had - fish dishes and seasoning were new to me - but I remember the meat eaters were HAPPY ! We all enjoyed tasting desserts. I definitely recommend Laura's- next time you have family visiting from out of town, check out this local.

Terrible service. We were the only customers in there. Our server was the owner I think, and she spent the whole meal sitting at an adjacent table listening to the news at full volume on her phone with no headphones. We felt like we had no privacy with her 5 feet away, and we could barely hear each other over the loud local news about a murder. Finally, the restaurant felt to be about 60 degrees - even the owner was sitting there in a parka! The salmon was tasty, but I won't ever be coming back.

I stumbled upon this place when looking to try something new. It was at the top of my search for portuguese food, had good reviews, and was nearby. I was not disappointed. I stopped in for lunch on a slow Saturday I was the only diner at the time and am very glad I did. Since they were slow I was able to strike up a conversation with the server to find out what his favorite dishes we're; He recommended a steak with sauteed mushrooms with a side of vegetables and rice & beans. I can see why this food was his favorite. Next time I'm in there area that will absolutely be my go to.

You walk in. They make you feel like family. Serve you authentic food, share their love for their culture with you, with live music in the background!! I felt like I was on vacation on a Portuguese island. If you’re not here now, you’re doing it all wrong. Show up, grab a beer, and order the seafood platter.

Flavorful delicious food. great Apps. Delightful authentic wines of region. Felt and tasted like dining in Lisbon. Owner has great knowledge of fine wines.

We were the only couple in there the service was slow and not friendly I believe the server was the owner , the food was not very good at the Ambiance was awful what the appear to be the owner kept yelling at the kitchen staff which could be overheard from the dining room almost the entire time we were in the restaurant. We will not be back.

Laura’s catered a GBIO training session. The food was excellent! I particularly liked the cabbage and carrots cooked to perfection and the dumplings served with tuna. Very good!

I miss this place. Laura was very friendly, the food was always delicious, the food was served hot and fresh never left sitting under a heating light. Spacious and great drinks.

Caboverdean/Portuguese food with an assorted variety of great wines and beer. Top it off with a nice espresso and a brandy! Often live band playing traditional Caboverdean music!

Oh my!! What a lovely experience all around!! The food was incredible!! The service!! The chat with Laura herself!! Outstanding and unforgettable!!
