Rheb's Homemade Candies

Great local business with wonderful chocolates. I like the peanut butter sticks! The place is always very busy around the holidays so be prepared to wait. You can order ahead and pick up your order at the side entrance to the left of the front door. There's a parking lot for customers at the bottom of the hill.

The chocolate is delicious and the staff is great. They are only allowing 4 people in the lobby at a time so don't let the line out the door and down the sidewalk fool you. You will be in and out quick! And they even do gift wrapping! My mother is having a procedure done at St. Agnes, so I came over to get her favorite, Milk Chocolate Salted Caramel. This place is a Baltimore icon! Thanks again Rhebs!

My family has been going to rhebs for as long as I remember. After meeting my husband, we’ve made it a yearly Christmas tradition to get our favorite chocolates from there to enjoy for the holiday season. This year is no different. What was different nobodies fault but my own, I mistakenly ordered our chocolate for pick up on the wrong day- realizing today which should have been the correct pick up day had I paid more attention when ordering online. As soon as I realized, I reached out to Rhebs and while at first they didn’t think they could fulfill my order today understandably with the holiday, they came back on the line with the good news that they can make it work. I’ve always raved to everyone about rhebs, but their customer service that I’ve never really had to utilize in this way, gives me all the more reason to continue to. I could not have been angry had they not have been able to have our order ready today, but the fact that they were able to work with me for an error on my part is phenomenal. They already had my business, but I can’t even think of going anywhere else for chocolate at this point.

Making candy since 1917, this place is well-known and well-loved! There is a parking lot, but the shop itself is in a small space. Remember to take a number as soon as you get inside. You will have to wait your turn if you want the saleswomen to make up a custom box of chocolates. If you are happy with prepackaged boxes of all milk or dark chocolate or mixed, you do not have to wait. Just go to the register where people are picking up called in orders. The box sizes are 1/2 lb., one and two pounds. There is also a large selection of bagged candy and other gift items along the wall which would make nice stocking stuffers. Elaine Rifkin Baltimore

Bought chocolates for Valentines Day ! Had to wait in line outside for about 30 minutes, then about a 30 minute wait inside. Absolutely worth the wait. Will be back for Easter chocolates !

I have been patronizing this establishment for quite a few years and they have always had great customer service and always had great chocolate...it is little wonder they have been in business for over a hundred years....I will always continue to visit this establishment.

My wife loves their truffles, but their small store and poor layout makes it difficult to shop there.

Absolutely wonderful chocolate but even better staff members. Many of these ladies have worked at Rheb's for a very long time. I appreciate them and also the folks who work behind the scenes. Love this Baltimore treasure!

Rheb's is a local institution. Great treats. It was busy but not packed like other times I've been there. Helpful staff.

Such good choclate place for gift giving or personal enjoying. Their dark chocolate caramel is my personal favorite!
