Three of us rented paddleboards and had a great time.  The staff person was so pleasant and helpful; the boards were stable and in good shape.  It is a nice area to paddle around, with Goddard Park just across the way.  It was such a great discovery to find it so close and to get on the water for a couple of hours without spending time in a car to get further south. If you live close by, it is a wonderful little interlude.

I had the best time. Very easy and accessible for anyone who isn't an experienced kayaker. The outing was so relaxing and serene I could have fallen asleep (but didn't!). We got a double kayak so I could chat with my friend without having to make sure the kayaks stayed close together.
