I went in and consulted Anthony Teesdale and we talked for two hours about what had happened and what would and could happen in the future. Just this settled my mind quite a bit so a couple days later I hired him. He knew I was a very busy person so he took care of everything. He would call me to make sure I knew all the information so I could make a informed decision about how I wanted to move forward. Which saved me time and stress. Anthony is the best lawyer I have ever worked with. He is very easy to get along with and makes you feel good before going into court. Made everything in my case workout and would definitely recommend to anyone looking!

Rick did an exceptional job with my disability hearing. With a very complicated case he was able to break it down for the Judge so it was easy to understand and made a favorable decision possible. His staff is great as well. I had little paperwork to gather as they took care of it. I’d recommend Rick to anyone.

Rick Ribstein handled my case quite well. After consultation he gave me a realistic expectation of possible outcomes and pursued the actions I wanted quite diligently. Was easy to contact and kept me informed throughout. I would definitely recommend him.

I used this law firm for two different situations last year. Mr. Hogan is kind and patient as well as professional and prompt. Mr. Ribstein helped me through a long and complicated case that ended in my favor. I would use them again and highly recommend these excellent legal eagles.

I highly commend Rick A. Ribstein, Esq., as both a thorough and a thoughtful disability attorney without reservation. As an experienced professional and over the course of a full year, he effectively and successfully integrated my highly complex medical history in a comprehensive presentation before an administrative law judge at a hearing administered by the Social Security Administration (SSA) in Rapid City. In the final analysis, he obtained the judge's "fully favorable" decision, together with the maximum SSDI award in the form of retroactive payments. As his client, I could not have asked for better legal representation of my multiplicity of medical diagnoses, all far from standard and generally poorly understood. Moreover, my disability case was complicated by advancing age, poor health, and several unrelated medical diagnoses. In addition, I had already confronted a denial of an appeal in a state other than South Dakota, leaving my case somewhat of a carcass. Whereas most disability attorneys in western South Dakota had already declined representation, upon reading my written email summary Rick accepted and then spent a full hour on the phone explaining the intricate avenues leading toward a hearing. As a disability attorney headquartered in eastern South Dakota, his geographic reach was broader than those attorneys whom I had initially contacted in the Rapid City area close to where I was then residing in Wall. In his initial coaching by phone, Rick simply advised me to spend the next year making every medical appointment possible while ensuring that medical doctors were maintaining complete and accurate records. Meanwhile, his paralegals requested their own official file copies of these medical records for review before the hearing. Finally, on the day of the hearing Rick spent a great deal of time with me to explain the calculus of established disability diagnoses according to a federal bureaucracy, of which the judge was a member. Independently, I had learned that the legal standards of disability of such federal agencies as the Social Security Administration, Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Education, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission often differed. In advance, Rick emphasized that such an administrative law judge would tend to not only resort to specific bureaucratic terminology in referencing most disabilities, but also adopt strict lines of questioning. The fact of the matter remains that Rick took on my difficult case after it had been denied an appeal in another state, resulting in a late stage of legal representation that most disability attorneys would simply refuse. Moreover, my case was complex because my disability status had dated back two decades with a period of repeated hospitalizations. This had been followed by a previous SSDI award over a long period, suddenly truncated by a SSA Continuing Disability Review that determined I was no longer disabled. This official determination then culminated in a series of unsuccessful part-time employment assignments, leading to my unsuccessful appeal yet with Rick's final resolution reinstating the SSDI award. In closing, I should note that an SSA hearing requires comprehensive preparation by both the attorney and the client in coordination, yet I had no difficulty in the year leading to our joint appearance because of Rick and his staff's meticulous attention to detail and communication.
