Richard J. Kinsella Magnet School of Performing Arts

It's a very good school. I was in it in 2000. I miss my teacher mrs. Bruno. If anybody knows her pls mail me caz i am not in that country and i don't have their contacts. Thank you.

I haven't been here for many years. I left back in 2013. I was there from Pre-k up until 4th grade. I am now an 8th grader, soon to be 9th. This school opens up the world for young children who are taking interest in the arts. My favorite thing to do when I was little was to sing. After I left this school my singing was always on point and I learned how to play 6 different instruments. I always got student of the month and always made A's and B's. This school changed everything for me and was the peak moment of realization of the love for music that I have. Most of my old teachers no longer teach there, and I miss all of them dearly. If you're considering applying to get your child into this school, please do! This school will change their life!

R.J kinsella has been a great school for my daughter. She has come out of her shell and is more outspoken. It has been a great success for my child.

Don't get me wrong, I love this school. But it puts a lot of pressure on the students from 6th grade, expecting the students to be mature enough to do the right thing. I'm going into high school this year I'm torn of either staying or going to East Hartford High. But, Kinsella is also where all my friends are, and that always makes my school "year".
