Simply love this theater and I'm not just saying that because I went to see Hamilton there. The theater is very well located near plenty of restaurants. If you arrive early enough, take a walk down 8th avenue and you'll have access to some good food. Just be sure to go a bit farther from the theater as some of the closer ones can be touristy (sacrificing service and quality for charm). Another reason I love this theater is for their accommodations. My wife and I went out for our anniversary but needed some time to pump for our little one. They accommodated us and provided us with what we needed. Not everywhere is as welcoming to nursing mothers, so that is very appreciated. Would definitely come back to this theater.

Fantastic venue, historical theatre that now showcases the smash hit HAMILTON. Attached are pictures of that set plus beautiful amenities of the theatre. We ordered our tickets a year in advance, but last minute tickets and a lottery for tickets are sometimes available. Check online for details. Restrooms convenient. Mezzanine, first rows are fantastic seats but get seats toward middle, not far left or right. Loges, boxes and equipment keep those seats from stage right action. Highly recommended theatre, very highly recommended production from Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Very nice, intimate feeling theater. You can enjoy the show from any seat in the house because of the size and shape of the theater. Hamilton is exceptional and you will enjoy. But if you win the lottery and end up in the first two rows know that the seats are very low and the stage is a bit high. For shorter people/children this may be an issue.

I saw Hamilton here with my family and while the show was incredible, they only have one women's restroom with twenty or so stalls and all the women who wanted to use the restroom were stuck waiting in a line going out the bathroom, up the steps, around the corner, and down the orchestra seating all the way to the stage and back up the aisle. I got in line early enough to get back to my seats in time, but I'm sure there were women who had to miss the first scene of the second act because there were not enough stalls for women. You'd think with all the money Hamilton is bringing in, they could afford to make the restrooms more convenient for women.

The theater itself is beautiful, it still has a lot of the original interior decorations. Unfortunately a lot of them are covered with lights and speakers. It is still amazing and the seats are actually a reasonable size. The best part about this theater is how steep the seats are though, it won't matter how short you are you will be able to see over the people ahead of you. The staff was nice too, but the bathrooms must be small because the lines reached into the theater itself during intermission. Hamilton is every bit as good as you hear, great show with amazing wordplay and spectacular choreography. The set is well designed and well suited to the show. The revolve on the stage allows them to do some really unique stuff. Unfortunately tickets are way too expensive still.
