I am a therapist based in New York and Connecticut. I treat a wide variety of issues with a special emphasis on healing relationship problems.

Story

I am a therapist based in New York and Connecticut and for many years I’ve worked with individuals and couples. I am a licensed transpersonal psychotherapist and clinical social worker specializing in the integration of Western psychology and Eastern spiritual traditions. I have also served as the Co-Director of the New Haven Center for Gestalt Therapy, and was a core faculty member of the Gestalt Therapy Center in New York, where I trained and supervised professional practitioners.

I treat a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, guilt, grief, and self-esteem problems, with a special emphasis on healing relationship problems and marital infidelity.

My intention is to function as an open field of awareness, meeting you in the moment from a place of compassion and support, allowing you to witness whatever arises in an open and non-judgmental way. This results in deepened empathy and self-acceptance, maximizing the expression of your fullest potential in the world.

While I honor traditional Western therapeutic methodologies, which focus on treating the “symptoms” of the self, my work ultimately exposes the illusory nature of that very self, opening up a radical shift in awareness and identity. This facilitates a deeper sense of freedom, aliveness, and spontaneity.
