Rick's House of Fire

Working with Rick’s House of Fire has been hands down my best experience with a contractor. When I first started looking for a wood stove in October last year I communicated with two other metro area businesses. With both it was an average of a month between emails, one even ended up ghosting me. When I finally reached out to Rick’s in the middle of winter peak busy season for them, I heard back from Dina the next day and every following communication was similarly prompt and detailed. She answered my questions fully and was patient with follow ups. Her quote was detailed and reasonable. When scheduling the install and visiting the show room, Julie was organized and very pleasant to work with. Stephen did the install solo. This is a man who has clearly installed many, many stoves. He made it look easy and was very careful to protect surfaces and clean up afterward. I was very satisfied with his work and he spent time afterward going over usage, tips, and best practices. Altogether they are a great team, very professional, and I’ve been more than happy to suggest them to neighbors and friends! Specs- Lopi Evergreen wood stove, double wall black stove pipe, class A stainless chimney, Abby the dog claiming her summer spot.

Buyers beware! This guy is way over priced and you will ultimately be disappointed with lack professionalism. He has so many excuses just look at all his comments on the other reviews. I had a stove installed by this guy and his parts and labor doubled in price after the job. Many of the parts were way cheaper online but he’ll tell you that they’re not as good quality or not covered under warranty. They were the exact same part by the same company. He couldn’t keep many of his scheduled appointments due to family emergencies even though you take the day off from your own job. Don’t waste your time or money.

I called this place to see if they can send someone out to sync my new remote with my fireplace. Rather than make a service call appointment for me the receptionist proceeded to tell me how to get down there move the stuff around and find the box and reset it for myself

Friendly and very knowledgeable staff! Great showroom with a wide range of products on display. Would highly recommend either location!

I came to Rick's and worked with Julie as my sales associate. I felt that they had a wonderful selection of radiant heat logs. I found the one I wanted. Ordered it, and they scheduled me to install 2 days later. Can't beat having a great selection, great products, and fast service.

A huge thanks to the team at Rick’s who went to bat to find me a 6” pipe to finish my install of a pellet stove before the cold hit. Great price to add.

Rick's listened to me describe my gas fireplace troubles. Rather than tackle my issue, they kindly referred me to the dealer of my unit. I really appreciate their courtesy to refer me to their competitor. Rick's did offer their assistance to me in the event that the dealer couldn't help my trouble. I am thankful for their professionalism.

I had bought pellets at a local store in Edmond. After burning some I had sticky substance in my pellet stove. I had to clean it out which was not easy. I took a sample to Rick they recognized it right away. They had the pure pellets I needed without that chemical present. By the way I have been breathing pellet fumes and I am still alive , there are no poisonous fumes in theses stoves or pellets or no would be able to burn them in their homes. If I was worried about my two year old I would leave them at home or in the car. Speller stove is similar to burning your fireplace at home . That is wood logs pellets are made from hard or soft woods same that you would burn so it is safe as anything or we would be able to burn them in our homes nor fired laces. It certainly helps our heat pump when temperatures are very low and it has to work hard to keep our house warm. Thankful for Rick and his staff
