Rimrock Evangelical Free Church

Rimrock Church teaches truth from the Bible with an exegetical approach (from Scripture, not just a pastor's thoughts). They give practical application as well as insight into the Bible passages' meanings. It feels like the pastor is talking to us in his living room, just hanging out and teaching/talking to me. I have grown because of the sermons and community and I hope you will consider joining us. - There are a couple negative reviews on here, and I want to comment because I was in attendance of that sermon. Rimrock isn't afraid to teach on the hard truths of the world and to give us comfort, hope, peace, and practical, godly advice for a myriad of situations. If you want a whitewashed, feel-good sermon with no real message or growth, then maybe look elsewhere (though you are welcome to come back and ask questions!)...but if you are interested in learning how to be set free in Christ and want real advice on how to live daily for Christ, then Rimrock is a great place to gain some knowledge!

They teach the truth of God's unending love by exploring the Bible cover to cover. It is a comfortable placed that offers a lot of chances to connect with others.

My family and I have been a part of Rimrock Church for over 17 years. It is an amazing place where all are welcome, God is worshiped, and His word is preached.

My family and I attended Christmas Eve service at Rimrock Church. This was the most disturbing service I've ever experienced. I'm not a member here so I'm not familiar with their normal practices, however, the sermon was completely inappropriate. Nic Ewing spoke of all the horrific things we do to each other. "Violating young girls" "Fathers who sneak in and do horrific things to their daughters in the middle of the night" "these things exist" All of this may be true, but I can't believe this was spoken of on Christmas. The birth of our savior Lord Jesus. It's a day of celebration and love. NOT a day to bring up all the hate in this world. We will never attend this church again. We all left feeling confused and appalled at what just happened. If I could give zero stars, I would. Very unfortunate.

Christmas Eve Service Message = dragons, swords, fathers preying on their daughters at night x3, drug lords, the stories of teaching pastor Nic Ewing demeaning & disciplining his son for playing too loudly.
