Corporate needs to change the store hours for the pharmacy to what they are 9:00a.m to 6:00 p.m. It is very inconvenient when you can't get anyone to answer the phone in the pharmacy and you have to rely on the wonderful people up front. Please fix this so people can stop wasting gas and time on such a simple solution. Thanks
Had an emergency to get my eye drops because I forgot them in Long Beach and was going out of the country so I found rite aid pharmacy. I showed my prescription card and medical card and the pharmacist left to "check" and returned saying it wasn't covered. I had to pay full price. Which was my money for vacation. Well I needed my meds so I paid full price, BUT first I asked if she can help me with that TV discount thing...well I was told " you have to do it" well I figured it out and walk out paying $245.71. Well, now that I returned and had time I called my prescription insurance I ask my insurance cost for the eye drops and they said they should have excepted it and your cost would have been $70. I put my claim through and had my flex acct reimbursed me the $70 and my insurance will reimburse me $149.19 because their cost is lower than the $245.71 So if I would have paid my insurance cost, I would have walked out paying only $70. My cost now will be $96 because the pharmacist was too lazy and rude to do her job and really call my insurance. Her cashier # 63893474 dated 11/10/22. I will remember my meds going forward for sure now especially when I go visit my sister in-law.
Ok, so my last review was two years ago. I wanted to write a new review and it's not good. I cannot ever get a refill over the phone because it says " We're sorry we can't determine the status of your prescription". I am so tired of this every single time I try to get a prescription filled, I think I am gonna have to change pharmacies and when my Dr's send over a new prescription it's usually late that evening or the next day before it's ever ready. Kim is the only one that knows what she is doing and actually cares. I don't know what happened to Vaughn but I haven't seen him in forever and he is a really good pharmacist.
Same poor Rx service as previous posts. Nothing has improved for many months. My phone calls are never answered. Even renewing my prescription using prompts over the phone never get filled. When I receive a notice asking if I want them to refill my prescription and they will notify me when it is ready, I never get the notice. I show up at the pharmacy three days later to find out what has happened, the pharmacy is closed. So now I'm without my medication and experiencing sleepless nights. Rite Aid needs to step up and make improvements or just shut down. Better than leaving customers hanging. I can understand a mistake or delay can happen, but not every time.
I really hate to give a bad review. But my prescription is NEVER ready when they say it will be. I have to take multiple days off work every month and wait there with small children typically well over an hour... I've asked numerous times how I can make this process go more smoothly, but no one seems to have an answer. Calling doesn't work. They don't answer. And will shut the pharmacy down early without notice I get it, understaffed but with all these obstacles, it really makes getting my prescriptions the same thing every month at the same time a nightmare. It's incredibly frustrating to have no idea if I'll be able to get my prescription or if I'll have to take another day off work, and go without due to their constant delays and staffing issues. I wish their were better options for our mountain community. Because rite aid is hardly usuable. A lot of your problems could be solved by answering the phone which you NEVER do
Horrible service. I came to pick up my maintenance pills and they just opened up after their lunch break. There's one lady in front of me and Kimberly started helping her but the lady have questions so the pharmacist end up taking over. Kinberly stood around so I waited and waited until I have to prompt her to help me while the pharmacist help the lady. I don't like to single her out but man, how much of this can one take? The last time I picked up my prescription, she forgot to put it in the bag with other things I bought and Christine called me and I have to return for my pills. Can your employees be nice enough to acknowledge people in line so the waiting can be bearable? And can they multi task so the line get shorter?
The pharmacy is VERY unfriendly and un-helpful. Without regard to the fact that most people on the other side of the counter are ill or are in need of the medication.
During the 4th July holiday weekend the shelves were pretty empty. We were able to find what we wanted but our needs were short. My only negative is the lack of fresh fruit. There was no option to buy bananas or apples.
I'd give a zero if they let me. Been trying to get mt rx for 5 days. They will not answer phones or contact me to see if it is done. My doctors office okd the rx, I know this because I called. They won't even answer when you call the doctors line. I am 30 min from my Rite Aid and now I have to drive over in the snow to see if my rx is even done! I will be calling corporate over this.
I just want to say that each and every time I speak to Pharmacist Michael at Rite Aid in Oakhurst he has the BEST Customer service! Always, kind and respectful. Doesn't ever talk down to you. Always takes the time to explain. Thank you for being there! :-
