River City Drafthouse

The yelped food photos looked great and we were looking to eat before hitting the brewery next door. Walking in, it looks like a dive which is a good sign for us. We sat at the bar and our server was attentive even though he was also taking care of the other tables. The craft beer selection was plentiful and diverse. We ordered the jalapeño popper and crab Rangoon apps. The poppers…. Mehhh. The crab Rangoon though, AmaZiNg!! So light and crispy. Not oily. And the filling is creamy and full of crab. Excellent!! For an entree we got the Kentucky cheesesteak with fries and Chicken wings, hot, extra crispy. The restrooms…… do a hard pass on those of you can.

What a surprise! We were looking for a place that would satisfy everyone and found this place three blocks from my house. They have wings, burgers, sandwiches, sushi, rice bowls, etc. and a great happy hour. Just at their menu online…you won’t be disappointed. The food was so good. We can’t wait to go back. PS. Their onion rings were really good with real onions in the middle. My favorite.

Surprising place! You might miss it among its neighbors but look for it. I found it as a place to work while my kid has music lessons. Very good beer selection plenty of IPAs but there’s other stuff too. Excellent food. Some of the best wings I’ve ever had. Not kidding! My kids fell in love and make me bring them home. Slightly awkward knowing what prices are when but it’s not an issue really. Service excellent. I’m a fan.

The service was awesome and fast. The food was so great and I love having so many different options to choose from on the menu.

I was pretty skeptical when I heard they had sushi but I just had to try it. I went with low expectations but was blown away because their sushi was delicious! Sushi not your thing? Get some egg rolls or fried rice. Not feeling that either? Then go with some typical bar food that's equally as delicious. Wings either bone-in or boneless are the best in the Highlands. Get the Korean bbq ones! If you're not feeling food then they have a decent selection of beers and at least 1 cider on tap!

Deliciousness!! Wings, soft shell crab and a Kentucky cheese steak wings not pictured - eaten too quickly because they are sooooo good. Soft shell not pictured because it wouldn't load ‍ . Haven't been here since new owners. Wings are still very good. Crab Rangoon is also tasty. Loaded tater tots tasty. Nice selection of draft beers. even a sour which are my favorite.

Attentive staff. Eclectic elevated pub grub menu. Wings are definitely the star of the show but the Asian dishes are a welcome addition. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an appetizing oasis in the highlands. Parking: Ample street parking only.

Outstanding options, great prices and decent beer selection too. I've heard rumors about this place being a solid local contactless pickup location now that the Corona's is in full swing and BOY...I was surprised! River City Drafthouse is AWESOME! If you're feeling like a good ole fashioned burger and fries, a philly Cheesesteak or a shrimp Po'boy - look no further. Not exactly MINDBLOWING but decent, fast and tasty. The REAL bonus is when you spy the AMAZING Sushi and Sashimi options in the menu! WOW - these are all GREAT! FResh, nice fish cuts and even some tasty fried noodles! If you haven't already...give it a go and experiment with a mix of USA and Asian dishes! Oh...and the beer is good too!
