Spoke with tech over the phone. Said he could help but when I showed up they tried to upsell me. Save your time and go to honey electric like I did. Edit* I needed help with a connector. I spoke with Steve on the phone who said come in. I drove 35 minutes to your shop. When I showed up he told me the only option I had was to move my receptacle at a cost of time and materials he said. Likely a two hour job to move a plug according to Steve, and nobody in town would be able to help me. So I went to the competition and they helped me. Edit*. The above post was made 4yrs ago. It took 4 years for you to come up with a response. I highly doubt you would know remember the details. After FOUR years my recommendation to go elsewhere remains the same.
Kevin and Lucas came regarding a faulty baseboard heater. Same day service. They clearly explained the existing issue. They provided us with the most economical resolution. They went out and found a replacement, came back and installed it. They were professional, educational and efficient. We would use them again and recommend them to others. Bill and Brenda B.
The electricians who came were great. However the office staff Coleen especially were extremely unprofessional. We were sent our invoice and we told them we would pay as soon as possible. We were then harrassed with multiple phone calls and messages. The lady at the office even called our realtor and told him that he needed to make us pay. It had been less than 24 hours at this point. When we called to complain, the lady did not apologize and did not care that we were upset. She only cared about getting paid. Will not be recommending this company to anyone.
Called for an electrician for a hanging wire. Asked for a call upon arrival as I was offsite. Received no call and guests staying at the home reported no one showed up. WEEKS later I receive an invoice for services because they claim someone showed up and told the client it was a different issue. No name of who was informed, no proof they came, no work was done. I fixed the issue myself about 2 weeks after my initial call because my guests were able to temporarily move the wire. It was corrected when I was able to be on site and it wasn’t after all of this that I received an invoice. Not sure if they just forgot to bill me when services were allegedly rendered but I figured I hadn’t heard from them because no one showed up! Very poor customer service and communication. When I followed up to ask what happened I’m told “you have to pay for the service call. He said he told the client it wasn’t something he could do. I’m guessing you’re the client.” Well, their guess is as good as mine who this mystery client is. Paid anyway but sharing my experience. Never again.
5 stars for being good people! I recently bought my first house and know nothing about electrical stuff its pathetic really. They didn't even need to come to my house. After talking to me about my problem I was given advice and told to try it out first before paying someone to come out for something simple... turns out it was something simple. I could have been given an appointment, charged money for literally flipping a switch, and been grateful that someone out there understands electrical panels. Instead I was assisted by good, helpful people who could easily have made a quick buck.
We had an emergency right at closing. So we called Rob's Electric and they came right out. They checked the switch at the meter and fixed the problem. Excellent service and very courteous .
