This was my first visit with Dr. Veligdan. He and his staff took very good care of me. He is very patient, sensitive and thorough with his procedures. I was glad to learn that his practice is holistic. I have some more dental procedures to be done and I feel comfortable and confident in getting it done at Dr. Veligdan’s dental office.

I chose Dr. Veligdan after doing an extensive search for a holistic dentist.  My previous dentist was fine but after my favorite hygienist left the practice, I thought it was a good time to make the switch to a holistic dentist as I had been thinking about it for a while.  Dr. Veligdan got such good reviews that he won out over the other holistic dentist I was considering.  My first visit I just wanted a cleaning it had been 6 months and I was due and a holistic exam but I didn't have any particular complaints or concerns.  He spent almost 3 hours with me my first visit--he did a thorough exam, took x-rays and pictures of teeth and gave me a cleaning the cleaning was just ok and he performed it himself.  His dental assistant wasn't there that day so the woman who is normally based at his front desk acted as his dental assistant.  She was very nice but it was clear she wasn't familiar with the things that a dental assistant would be he spent a good amount of time during my visit explaining things to her.  During his exam, he identified a cracked filling and another tooth with decay and scheduled a follow up appt for one week later.  I went back a week later and asked him to do the most important things first.  He used his calculator to figure out how much my insurance would cover and then proceeded to do a few fillings only one of the teeth he did a filling on had a visible cavity, the other two he said he should put bond/filling on because the root was a little exposed and he said it should be protected although I don't have any sensitivity on those teeth.  One of the teeth he wasn't able to finish because of gum bleeding so he said I'd have to come back for that this seems like something I shouldn't have been charged for if the work wasn't completed.  His front desk assistant acted as his dental assistant this time again.  As I mentioned before she was very nice but she didn't know what he was asking for a lot of the time because of lack of that specific experience so at one point while he was putting in a filling he actually got up and rummaged through a drawer to look for what he needed because she didn't know what he was asking for and he did not find it. When I left his office, his front desk assistant told me I would probably owe a bit over $300.  I told her ok and that we could wait to see what my insurance covered once the claim was processed.  I didn't get a call from him after either visit not that that's a problem but I mention it as it seems different from what many other reviewers mentioned.  It's been about a month since my visit and I recently received a bill from him for $1,200--for fillings.  I most certainly wouldn't have ok'd the work other than the filling in the tooth that had a cavity as having to pay $1,200 out of pocket is quite a financial burden for me.  Part of the reason for the large bill is that between the two visits with him I maxed out my remaining dental benefits for the benefit year and part is because even though he is covered by my insurance, he has no discounted contracted rate with them.  Overall, I have mixed feelings about my experience.  The pros were that Dr. Veligdan seemed very nice, he seemed to do a thorough job, I know he has many years of experience and I appreciated his insight about some things.  The cons were that things seemed very disorganized, he had his front desk assistant acting as his dental assistant during both of my visits and not enough consideration about the financial impact of the work he did on me was given.

Can’t say enough good things about Dr Veligdan and his entire office. They’re a great team, personable and sincere. Dr V is one of the most caring doctors I’ve seen. He  makes follow-up calls that evening to check on his patients. How many doctors do that?  Extremely thorough and devoted to the health care of his patients, he also remembers you and listens. Cheryl is a master of insurance. I feel completely trusting of her knowledge and grateful that she and Dr V are sensitive to financial challenges. Consistency is a big deal, and Dr V’s practice embodies it. From the moment you walk in Sharon will welcome you, and I’m so appreciative of how inspiring Crystal, the dental hygienist, is. You are in great hands!

I have been a patient for many years.  Dr Veligdan is knowledgeable and skillful.  He always tries to save a tooth instead of automatically replacing or capping it.  He truly cares about the patient's dental health.  I LOVE that he will answer any question or address any concern I may raise.  He makes going to the dentist almost enjoyable!

Dr. Veligdan is one of the most caring doctors I have met in my life. He continues to give so much to his patients, always checks in after every visit and genuinely cares. Combine that with his extensive experience and you have one of the best doctors to take care of your dental health. May God give him & his team health and strength to continue helping all the patients! Everyone at the office are always so helpful.

Dr Veligdan has proven yet again how caring and patient his dental work is, every time i come in for treatment he portraits his confidence and excellent knowledge to my concerns about my teeth. I Always come in and leave with a sense of satisfaction  on his work on me.. Thank you Dr Veligdan, I will recommend him to anyone, he is a great Dr and human being.

Dr. Veligdan is wonderful! The level of care, attention, and detail I've received from him far exceeds that of any other dentist I've seen. He always takes as much time as needed to do a thorough exam and cleaning. He explains what he is doing, why I have the issues I do, and gives me detailed advice on how I can best care for my teeth to prevent further issues. I highly recommend him. His assistants are great too.

Dr Veligdan is not only the best dentist I know, he has also become an amazing friend. I completely trust him with the care of my teeth and dental health which is important to my overall health. He has a gentle approach and instills confidence through education. I am always learning from him and I am convinced that he is the best dentist I could have to help me maintain my dental health. He also takes great care to check up on me with a personal phone call after each visit. I have found him to be 100% consistent in his kind approach and genuine bedside manner which is rare in the medicine. His staff is also professional, caring  and very helpful with scheduling and insurance billing. I wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Veligdan and will continue to recommend him to my friends and family.

Dr. Veligdan is the best dentist I've been to. I never thought I'd leave a review for a dentist, but here I am. Like many, going to the dentist is unsavory and sometimes traumatizing, but Dr. V is the kindest, most patient dentist who doesn't shove procedures down your throat and has a genuine interest in your wellbeing. Very grateful to have finally found a dentist who doesn't shame me for genetically weak enamel and is instead concerned about my care!

Dr.Veligdan ,is the best dentist I ever had. I am his patient for many years. It is not only because of his experience, over 40 years In his profession .He is  always caring, prepared and informed. I highly recommend seeing him!
